Dr. Schmidgall and his wonderful team went above and beyond my expectations! Let me start by saying I do my due diligence on researching. Especially when it comes to having anything done personally. So when I decided to do something about my mouth pain, I researched quite a bit for a dentist that I thought I could feel comfortable with. For that, I look at what kind have work they do, read all the patients testimonials, look at all the aesthetically pleasing photos on all their social media platforms.
One day I was browsing on Instagram and saw a picture of someone’s beautiful smile after she had veneers done. I immediately went to the dentist profile page on Instagram and then to his professional website. I was floored at how beautifully natural his work looked. I decided to do a virtual consultation with Dr. Schmidgall the next day. As I was listening to his response back to me and describing all my mouth issues and what possibly needed to be done in his expert opinion, I knew he was the dentist for me! You could say, he and his work checked all the boxes!!! I didn’t hesitate to set up an in person consultation whatsoever.
My first phone encounter was with Mary to set up my appointment. She was so wonderful and patient with me from the very beginning. As soon as I opened the door to enter into the dental office she greeted me by saying “hi are you Melissa?” It may be a simple thing, but it made me feel at ease just knowing that Dr. Schmidgall and his staff knew I was coming and that they were ready for me and all my many mouth issues!
Once I was in the back, Kelly Dr. Schmidgall dental assistant was absolutely amazing! She listened to me as she really wanted to know what all the issues were that brought me to their office. She was so gentle taking the necessary X-rays and pictures of my mouth and while doing so making sure I was comfortable. When Dr. Schmidgall entered the room, it was as if he was a longtime friend. He was that easy to talk to! I felt I knew him in a way, since he had taken the time to review my pictures that I had sent and personally taking time to send me back a virtual message. He made sure to explain in full detail all about my X-rays and pictures and why I was having the problems that I was. Making sure to answer any questions that I might have had. I never felt rushed, as a matter of fact I felt like I was taking up too much of his time. That’s usually how other dentist have made me feel in the past. I have NEVER had a dentist be so patient and thorough! We decided on a plan and I can’t wait from my journey to begin! If you’ve always wanted to have a beautiful new smile don’t hesitate to go see Dr. Schmidgall and his staff! So glad I found them!!! Melissa Owen
