I am a general dentist from the Yuba City area and have been referring patients to Serenity Oral Surgery to see Dr. Kim for many years. He has seen hundreds of my patients, as well as several of my own children. I continue to refer to him because my patients come back happy and feeling well cared for. They report he has a wonderful and gentle chairside manner, and the office staff is pleasant and professional. I would trust him with my own care should the need arise.
And, no...he didn't request that I leave this review. I was surprised by not seeing higher reviews on Google for him. I have many happy patients that are grateful for his care and treatment. I thought people might want to hear a professional opinion as well. Cheers!

Amazing staff and doctor! Quick in and out my son had very minimal pain and healed quickly! Staff were friendly and helpful! Doctor even called to check on my son later in that evening of the extractions. Thank you serenity staff and doctor

They’re too busy to be kind but the job gets done if you can get in to see them. He should raise his prices to have better customer service. The front desk gal hung up on me when trying to reschedule… a third time.

i just got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed last week and everything to my consultation, surgery, and check up appointment were amazing! Dr. Kim was a pleasure to be with. Made things fun and easy. His all around staff were so kind and welcoming and accommodating to every worry or need. I 100% recommend Dr. Kim to anyone that needs a oral surgeon!

Dr. Kim was amazing! Him and his whole staff was so comforting and made me feel safe the whole time. I was so terrified for my 4 wisdom tooth surgery and I am so happy i chose to come here. The assistants knew i was so nervous and they just continued to talk to me to calm me down which worked! and one of them even held my hand! Dr. Kim was so sweet by making sure i was in no pain and telling me what he was going to do. I most definitely recommend this office!

This is the best place for tooth implant. All the people here are professional and the cost is much more reasonable compared with other implant specialists.

Administrative staffs and dental assistants are very friendly and efficient. They know my case is urgent so they put me in just 2 days after my initial contact with them and even check with my insurance company about my benefits before my first appointment.

It's a nice and clean clinic, like its name, making me feel the serenity.

Dr. Kim is very professional. He explained the problem with my infectious implant patiently and scientifically using the 3D CT scan picture and then provide me the solution. The whole process is only 15 mins but i am very clear about the surgical procedure and how i might feel after the surgery. Since he is so experienced, only minimum amount of treatment is needed so that the overall cost is much lower than the quote from the first specialist i have consulted.

I was referred to Dr. Kim by my dentist. I waited quite a while, but finally went back for a panoramic x-ray and short consultation. Dr. Kim seemed nice and said I needed the extraction and implant. As I was leaving the front office gave me the treatment plan and costs and charged me $250 for the x-ray and $100 for the consult.
I decided to get two more opinions. Both offices I went to said the x-ray and consultation were complementary. I wasn't happy knowing that I paid $350 at Dr. Kim's office. Their treatment plans for the same services were also quite less then Serenity dental.
Anyway, I had the extraction and bone graft done at another office. They told me I did not need the expense of sedation, (that Dr Kim's office provides), and as it turned out I just had a Valium and nitrous oxide and all went very well.
I am just saying it helps to get several opinions before making your decision on where to go, especially if you have to pay out-of-pocket like I do.

I recently met with Dr Kim and his staff. Very nice office and staff. Dr Kim was nice and professional also. I had to have a 3D scan which insurance doesn’t cover. I’m retired so it was a large amount of money. Dr Lee was very understanding, kind and thorough in explaining my exam findings. I will use him every time I have need. Thank you for taking such good care of me Dr and staff!
