First. The ladies at the front office are 5+ stars! Friendly and professional! I’m giving 2 stars to the owner of the company due to complete failure to communicate! I booked an appointment for a free cleaning covered by insurance and an exam due to my teeth are a mess. I’ve had many exams in the past and zero bill because the first is free or insurance covered it. I walked out with no free cleaning and a $75.00 bill because they took X-rays that were not covered by insurance and did not ask for approval. Apparently if your dentist asks if I want to have him examine my teeth, ( why else would I’d be there for) and I say yes, that’s my approval to be charged extra. I was told I could not get my teeth cleaned because I needed a deep cleaning done. So I approved a future appointment and they did a quick scratching around my gums and again I was charged with no approval. I had to argue to get my free cleaning done in the future.
Not happy with lack of clarification on what is coved or not by insurance.

We recently moved to the area and my children use Smiles. I love their dental clinic! It’s is a very comfortable experience. Everyone is very nice and professional. I have never experienced a long wait time and appointments have been available within 1-2 weeks. I highly recommend using Smiles! I believe they also see adults now.

Dr. Gregory Martin is the best. I have extreme dental anxiety and often can’t make it through a cleaning without crying and stopping several times. Dr Martin coached me through 3 extractions all in one sitting. He was patient gentle and very thorough! A hidden gem in Magnolia. His staff excellent and so attentive! I can’t say I love going to the dentist yet but I can say I’ll come back to see Smiles of Arkansas and Dr Martin!

really the only positive things at this place is that they do accept my insurance (medicaid) and the staff is friendly. however, when i complained about tooth sensitivity to the dentist while getting fillings, he SHAVED IT DOWN MORE, then i had to come back in to tell him the pain got worse because he made a mistake, and he reccomended me to go through a root canal for a mistake HE MADE. unless he is willing to compensate me for the procedure as well as the mistake he made that couldve 100% been avoided and put me right to sleep during the root canal, i am not paying $1300 for a root canal from this man, especially if i dont know if he will mess that up too and cost me even more money.
the wait for the dentist to even meet you for your appointment is a different story. often i would come in 15 minutes early and i wouldnt even be able to go in to sit down at a different room until 50 minutes afterwards, and i would be left to wait even longer in that room. one time i went in for fillings for a 3 pm appointment that was supposed to end before they closed and was left in the waiting room for 2 HOURS before they were actually able to see me. i can understand they had some conflicts with another patient, but a heads up wouldve been more than just a nice gesture and wouldve saved me 2 hours to do anything else, like homework, since im also a college student.

0 would be the right score for these people.

I waited 2 months to be scheduled only to get cancelled a week ahead and told my appointment will be pushed to a month or two later all because I'm a new Patient. If you can't stick to your schedule, you should've let me know in a week or two, so that I could've found another dentist in town or elsewhere. Bunch of people who don't know what professionalism is running this clinic. Big Thumbs down!

The absolute best dentist office ever! Every time we visit this office I am greeted with big smiles and great hospitality! They are truly like a family to me and my children! They always comfort my children while getting their procedures done and treat them like they’re own? I absolutely love the staff and dentist at Smiles ♥️

Update: Smiles said my son had 3 cavities. After canceling our appointment, I took him to Dr. Payne. Dr. Payne said my son had 1 cavity. I'm confused how there can be such a difference.
The staff was very friendly. However, was highly unsatisfied with service. I went in for pain. They did an x-ray and didn't see anything. Said my teeth needed cleaned and that they would do more x-rays then. Was given no medication for pain. After a couple of weeks had gone by with no word of an appointment and still in pain, I went to another dentist who was able to take a good x-ray the first time and was referred to an oral surgeon immediately. Why would it take Smiles several visits on something it took my other dentist one? Was a waste of my time and money. I felt my service was rushed and incompetent.

Took over an hour for me to be seen by the dentist. When I took my daughter, they got her in and cleaned her teeth. Then called a few days later claiming they did X-rays and that she has cavities. They never did X-rays. Do not go to smiles. They're just in it for the money.
