I wouldn't let these people take of a dog let alone a human. It's essentially a group of degenerate family members that somehow all magically work for the same facility. Wild.

I have over 6 years experience with the Care Ctr. It is up to the family to be proactive regarding care. On several occasions, my Dad or Mom had a suspected UTI. The gathering of a urine sample is delayed until the next shift, if you are lucky, normally, received only the next day. Example: Suspected UTI on Thursday. Urine gathered on Friday. Results not read until Monday. Antibiotics ordered on Monday, and I happened to be in town on Monday to find that Dad was sick. I approached Casey, the Director of Nursing, to ask why the family was not notified on Thursday of his illness. She told me to mind my own business and to not tell her how to do her job! Wow, sick Thursday and still no meds at 1 pm on Monday. She told me the pharmacy will deliver before they close at 5. I picked the antibiotics up immediately in hopes of saving Dad from Sepsis. Casey is the most unprofessional excuse for a Director of Nursing. She does not want the family to know what is going on. Steph Schenck told me that I should do my job and allow the nurses to do theirs. That would be fine if I didn't have to call the hospital lab on Friday evening after hours and request the lab call the care ctr nurse to tell them to get lab results off the fax machine that sat there all day. This happened several times, as well. If you put your loved one in the Care Ctr, just realize YOU are in charge. Since Casey started there in 5/22, Don't depend on management or nurses to keep you informed. Aids work their tails off. One Sunday, an aid told me she was one of 2 aids for 70+ residents, so Dad could not lay down in bed for a nap because she had no one to help her get him up out of bed for dinner. Never enough help. Management, specifically Stephanie Schenck and Casey Bohnert are over their heads. They cannot keep employees. Many more examples to share, if you'd like. I am sorry you have to make a decision like this for your loved one. Good luck on your search.

My grandmother and I went to see my grandpa, who currently can not walk his self or roll his wheel chair him self due to a broken hip and arm. Called to talk on the phone through the window due to covid. First the lady (Carla) was extremely rude after me asking my grandpa if they can open the blinds so we can see him. She stated "Give me a second im getting there" in a very rude voice. Also didn't have a mask on even though they say its mandatory there due to employee having covid. Then called back to tell them we were done talking to him. He said he was tired. She came back in and got the phone and left him sit staring out the window. My grandma and I went to the store and I stopped back by there just to see if he moved and no he was in the same spot when we left a hour before. He said he hates it there and all he does is lay in bed or sit in his chair. No TV on nothing. Well im sorry grandpa try hard and you will be home before you know it. I love you! I don't like nursing homes for this kind of reasons!.

This facility for my Mother is a good one. She can no longer be cared for at home. She likes being kept busy during the days and they do a good job with activities.
