After setting my appointment, I made the mistake of looking up Dr. Gollehon on the internet to simply learn to spell his name. I saw the abysmal ratings that he had received which stressed me out for the week prior to surgery. I am sorry that the two negative reviewers had such a bad experience, but my experience was excellent. I was well taken care of being "prepped" for the extraction, and Dr. Gollenhon explained everything as he performed the procedure. No, it was not painless, but once the injections were made and time given for numbing there was actually no pain at all. I hope that my posting will keep future patients from experiencing the stress that I had prior to the procedure.

Had a bit of dental work done here to prevent future issues and the entire process start-finish was superb. Everything was thoroughly explained, extreme care/sanitation was implemented and all went great. Hopefully I never will need to visit them again, but they are a great group that ensures the best possible end result.

I will add that a very important part of the process is how well they dealt with my profound hearing loss. I use my phone for speech-text dictation and they also took time to jot things down to be sure nothing was lost in communication. I don't expect the world to change to accommodate my disability, but they made things go as smoothly/comfortably as possible.

I went to have 2 extractions. My mouth was not completely numb before he started pulling the teeth. It was rough and very painful. I felt like he was in a big hurry to get it done. His response to my moaning was "it will be over soon."
