Dr. Chopan has been my Primary care doctor since 1999. He is very thorough and cares about his patients. I highly recommend him as your family doctor. His staff is very friendly and helpful also.

Chopan is knowledgable but that's about the extent of the office as a whole. We just ended our attendance at the office because all they want is money - Come in to our office! Numerous times I have called in for referrals (such as for eye glass testing) and was told they would have to see me, even though every time I've had specialty referrals they've just been sent in with no issue. Since every doctor visit is approximately $150, I'm sure they would LOVE for me to come in! As a father of two and a full time student, I don't have the time or money to keep coming in to see this greedy office for things we already know they can't do for me. It's time to pull the plug - They're money-driven and not client-driven.

As for Chopan himself, he's a great guy but he's very impersonal. He listens to what you're saying, makes a quick recommendation and then he's rushing out the door. Many times I've been trying to talk to him or give him more info and he just stands at the door acting like I'm using up his time.

Do not recommend.

The new Dove Landing office in the old Wards building is absolutely beautiful. I got in fast and Dr. Chopin is very caring and polite. My prescriptions were called in right away. They have a lab right there. I hope the rest of the medical field follows their example.
