This is not the worst children’s dentistry I’ll say that but, their sick policy is super strict and as I am not one to send myself or my child anywhere unwell. They don’t have enough availability to have a plausible solution when you cancel due to illness. Their system is to call you when they have a cancellation (which I can never make)while scheduling 5 months out based on their policy. Dentistry is medical care so the fact that they are even this strict is just ridiculous. My kiddo seemed to like this place but we both love our new family dentistry much more. And when I first scheduled an appointment i was able to get in within two weeks so the fact that magically they have appointments so far out all of sudden doesn’t even make sense.

If I could give this dental office 100 stars, I would! My daughter is on the spectrum and dental visit are never any fun however all that stops with Surfside 🥹 every single staff member from the receptionist up was so warm, helpful and inviting! We are looking forward to her next appointment!

This place is awesome for little ones. The way they set up the environment is fun and the dentist was nice; however, some of the staff could be a little more nicer especially early in the morning but eh everyone was their own thing going on so I just ignore it.
UPDATE
It really sucks because my youngest daughter was being seen by Dr. Jenny but I got my other daughter started on the Ortho side and they completely ruined it for us. Their lack of empathy and care when they applied the appliance to the roof of my daughter’s mouth resulted in my daughter having the metal pieces embedded into her gums and they barely looked at it. I had to keep showing up since they wouldn’t answer or make an emergency appointment. They “tried” to fix it by twisting it and didn’t realize when they did that the other side of the metal pieces on the other side of the teeth got jammed into her gums even further. My daughter had so much pain for 3 months. They didn’t do shit about no empathy nothing. Finally walked in with her and demanded them to take it off and I didn’t want it anymore. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE FOR ORTHO WORK!

This is difficult to write because we LOVE dr Jennifer and have been coming here since my kids were born. Three days ago I recommended this office to my mom’s group and uploaded a cute photo. However, we scheduled our appointment today six months ago. We received multiple email confirmations and replied yes. I even received an email confirmation this morning at 9am for my 10 am appointment. We drove 20 minutes to get there and had a packed day, including picking up my dog from his bath and me arriving at work by noon. When I arrived, they said my appointment was cancelled by the system. They did not apologize. I reiterated that I had not cancelled my appointment. They repeated told me that I had. Then they finally looked it up, and said that the “phone on file had opted out of messaging.” So because I did not allow texts from unknown numbers, their system cancelled my appointment. Again, no apology. They stated that the people who they had allowed to fill my appointment at the last minute couldn’t be made to wait, and we would have to sit and wait for an hour so their doctors were not overbooked. Again, no apology about the system or about insisting that I had cancelled my appointment. They offered me a note for work. Honestly, if they had politely said there was a mistake with their system I would have been fine about it. However, insisting that I cancelled the appointment even after seeing a message that says my cell didn’t accept their text, and not that I had cancelled, was just plain rude. Receiving a confirmatory email and then driving out of the way because we liked the office and dentist and then having the front desk give me this much attitude that I was in the wrong was inappropriate. We stood there while the people they filled our appointment with went back, as we even arrived earlier than they did. I have been coming here for eight years and I always schedule six months out for my two kids and come 10 minutes early for our appointment. I’m very disappointed about the front desk today. They should learn some manners.

Great! The staff are very nice and helpful, attentive. They are very good with kids. My boys love it here. They are very patient with gentle with kids, Especially ones who are scared of the dentist and have anxiety. Dr.McCarthy is nice and informative when it comes to procedures needed. She breaks down the step by step procedures to alleviate any anxiety or issues you might have. She is gentle and very patient with the kids and fun.
The office is clean. They required masks and getting your temperature checked before coming in.. they have hand sanitizer available to you. The office is very cute underwater vibes, very nice fish tanks. The underwater theme is cool throughout the entire office. We love it.

My daughter had a tooth that was hanging on by a tendon and she was terrified for me to pull it or even touch it. I called Surfside this morning as a new patient and asked if there were any appts, they were full and without the extra dental assistant. They said “let me see what we can do with the schedule and squeeze her in if we can” and they would call me back. Called back in less than 30 mins with a spot for her an hour later! Thank you SO much!! My daughter loves the office and the people. This is now her established dentist!

Been meaning to write this review for awhile now. I have enjoyed the treatment that my son has received at Surfside. His smile looks like a million bucks!! They are so accomodating even with last minute changes. Virginia even stayed after hours so that my son could get seen. It is the small things that matter and that little act of kindness went a long ways! I highly recommend anyone to bring their kids here!

This place has been great so far! They were very good with my 2 1/2 year old daughter. She had a blast in the waiting room, and the dentist and hygienist was great with her. Later that afternoon, she asked if she could go back to the dentist and threw a tantrum when I told her that we had to stay home :-).
