Please don’t go to this surgeon, refer yourself to another surgeon if you need any work done! This surgeon simply has his patience coming in and out like a herd of elephants!! My daughter’s experience started out with her begging taken back for her wisdom teeth extraction. The medical assistant didn’t know right from wrong when placing the EKG stickers on her chest to monitor her heart. Then my daughters waits for the doctor and he just barges in with his nurse, no knocking, no introduction, no eye contact. He came in very aggressive and knocking the tools over which made it very uneasy. He went straight by in asking questions, and did not make the time to introduce nor explain anything to my daughter. When she was waking up from the anesthesia, she was getting lightly slapped on her cheek to wake up and get out of the chair. She didn’t even have the opportunity to open her eyes for more than 30 seconds before getting pulled out of the chair. The worst front desk experience ever!! I called to see if there was a stronger medication than Tylenol and the medical assistant couldn’t answer simple question and told me to go to CVS and get pills. They send you home with a small bag of gauze but not one piece of information for any emergency to contact them with. Lastly, they did not mention and post-op or checkin at all.

My worst experience with a dentistry, I came in their office by a reference of a friend back in May 2023. Waiting was 1 month to get on their schedule, they were supposed to extract 4 wisdom teeth, I did not know how painful this could be but they made it be 10 times worst, though vibe in the office and rude staff with inconsistent answer to simple questions. The doctor that made the procedure told me while doing the procedure that if I wanted more anesthesia we had to pay $700 which I understand the insurance not cover but why not to propose this option prior the procedure so I could be ready? bad practice I say, the were able to remove the top teeth, recovery was gnarly and extremely painful even on Hydrocodone every 6h. Two days ago (Jan 4th) I had the lower ones removed by a different professional with a better customer care, at a reasonable price and provided a decent practice, I'm barely swelling and no need of strong medication for pain, regardless that it is known the lower ones are more painful and trickiest. Posting this for future patients and for improvement of this office that serves the Hispanic community mostly.

I went for a consultation after a big fall at work that fractured a few bones in my face. It was a brief interaction, but Dr. Talebzadeh was friendly, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Thankfully, he told me surgery was not needed because none of the bones shifted when they fractured, so time and carefulness are all they need.

It was such a little thing, but when I got up and shook his hand in relief, he gave me a small pat on the shoulder as reassurance and told me to take care of myself. A lot of doctors are understandably just trying to get through their days and don’t think to do the little things like that, but I’m glad Dr. Talebzadeh did.

I was never able to remove my wisdom teeth here. I currently attend school in Arizona and was flying in for break to have my wisdom teeth removed here. Unfortunately, due to foggy conditions my plane went back to Arizona mid-flight. My appointment was supposed to be the next morning. I immediately emailed and explained my situation. I also called the very next morning. I was told over the phone I would have to pay a $150 no show fee which I was okay with despite the situation being out of my control. I recently moved back to San Diego for the summer and attempted to reschedule. The front desk lady said they were unwilling to schedule me because I cancelled the day of. I mentioned that I had sent an email, she put me on hold, when she came back she said the doctor still didn’t want to see me. Although I understand that the dentist is completely within his right to refuse patients, it also strikes me as unprofessional to not serve a patient given circumstances out of their control.

To my community here in San Diego. Please be careful and avoid this office. I am 36, a business owner and neighbor in the community, father of 3 daughters and husband. This office is extremely unprofessional and provided me with the worst experience I have ever had at a dental practice. The staff was intentionally going out of their way to make my experience worse. The Dr. himself although appears to be well educated is not out for your best interest. In a nut shell, they tried to perform the wrong surgery, told me it was the right way to do it and than had to back step because of their mistake. Please take this review as honest and sincere. Take your time to find the right place when dealing with oral surgery.

Run, run far away as possible from this place. My dentist referred me to his oral surgeon to have five teeth pulled out. After I checked in I sat in the waiting room. I noticed that an elder woman who sat in her wheel chair was trying to get attention from the front desk people. She waved her hand then someone finally noticed her.

After I did the 365 degrees X-ray, I was placed in a room. I think I waited about 20 -25 mins before the dentist showed up. One of the front desk woman checked to see if I was seen by the dentist. I said “no”. A few mins later the dentist came in. He asked me how I was feeling and what I was there for. I told him that I had referral to have 5 teeth pulled out. Told him that was in pain the last few weeks but wasn’t currently in pain at the moment. I opened my mouth and pointed to the upper left tooth that was bothering me. He came over and looked at my tooth then looked at my chart. I asked if I could have that one tooth extracted the same day. He was like “no, it had to be planned out”. Basically I was misinformed about the front desk lady who told me that I probably would have a tooth pulled out the same day. With that said, I had my daughter come to the appointment with me because I would be under local anesthesia.

I told the dentist that I’m only going to have one tooth pulled out and do the rest later. He said it is better to have all 5 teeth pulled out the same time. I told him that it depended on the cost. He said it was up to me and just left afterwards. The bottom line seems as though he wanted a lump sum payment for 5 teeth from the insurance company.

The dentist didn’t go over the extraction procedures, side effects, what to expect, down time, etc. I left the 2-3 min consultation very disappointed. When I left the dentist office, my daughter said there were lots of bad reviews. I wished I read the reviews before booking an appointment. I decided to cancel my appointment in December to have my tooth extracted by this dentist. Normally I don’t write reviews but I felt I had to share my personal experience with the public. Again run, run as fast and far away as you can!!!

Everyone in the office was absolutely fantastic, professional, caring and I felt that I was staying at a 5 star hotel instead of having surgery done.

Such amazing service. The doctors assistant was great, she was so nice. The doctor was amazing. He made the procedure fast and easy. They both made me feel at ease the whole time. Glad I got my wisdom teeth taken out here!
