Therapist were fantastic and really pushed for intense therapy every day . A special thanks to Diane, who accomplished a huge task of getting my husband up and walking within three days. I also want to compliment all the people that worked in dietary their smiles and kindness overwhelmed me, and their menus were wonderful. It is a beautiful facility and the therapy gym is amazing . I truly believe One will always have to be an advocate for their family no matter what institution they’re in, and I think me being there 8 hours a day with my husband helped with his continuity of care. I highly recommend this rehab Institute For anyone who needs intense and dedicated therapy in order to recover.

I recommend The Rehab Institute of St. Louis in Ballwin to anyone needing acute rehab. This place has state of the art rehab equipment with the best rehab staff. I cannot explain how professional and friendly all the staff were my entire stay. Being in nurse management myself, I have to admit I was a little jealous and asked where they found their nursing staff. It almost seemed too good to be true. But it was true! I cannot say anything but good things about this facility: it was clean, I felt safe, the food was good, and the staff responded quickly.

After an injury or illness if you are referred to an acute rehab and you still have the drive to recover, this place will push you with 15 hours of therapy required weekly until you are able to hopefully return to your baseline and go home. The weekends are a good time for visitors because you are so busy with therapy throughout the week. Their success rates are high requiring on average 10-14 days.

I was diagnosed with a neurologic disorder that required therapy to learn to walk again. I admitted to the facility in a wheelchair. The therapy I received there taught me to trust my body again. I learned to walk like a normal person, with a proper gait. They change things up at times and have you do therapy in a small group. I was able to participate in a few group therapies: chair exercise, walking club, and cooking class. Having therapy in a group setting was fun for me. It allowed me to socialize a little and encourage others.

100% recommend. I am a nurse and will continue to brag on this place to others. With my motivation they were able to get me discharged home, walking out of the facility in 8 days. 5 stars from me!!!

Clean? Yes! Brand new facility that is very nice.

But if you or your family member are thinking about going here be prepared. Staff acts like they don’t care about anyone and don’t want to be there. Attitudes of staff, especially on weekends is horrible.
Need help? Be prepared to wait hours, maybe even days or there is a chance no one will respond to you at all..
caseworker was no help at all. Provided no support, no information regarding anything. Wouldn’t respond to emails until her supervisor was attached.
So disappointed with this place, would never recommend.

I had a family member who had to come here twice. The first time with excellent care, he was able to return home at probably about 75%. We would have loved for him to stay longer, but, you know, insurance. He had a more severe recurrence and ended up coming back. The staff was wonderful and worked with him and all of us to find the best "next step" placement for him. Every member of the staff was friendly and greeted us warmly as we walked through the halls. The nurses and techs were patient, understanding and knowledgeable. The pt/ot teams were awesome. He saw several over the course of his stays besides just his main therapist. From the front desk and admissions to the pharmacy, housekeeping and case managers, we truly felt like they were family. I almost hate to do this, in case I miss anyone, but special kudos to Morgan, Emma, Kris, Brittany, Izzy, Barb, Tyra, Immaculate, Sue, Alex, Lauren, Faith, Tia, Teresa, Angie, Jakayla and Patrick. Thank you all so much!
