I am a pediatrician and my daughter has Down Syndrome. This clinic was recommended by the Down Syndrome Clinic and it has been the best recommendation I have received! Dr. Sutcliffe is extremely knowledgeable in her field and has helped us tremendously. She truly walked me through every step of the way in helping my daughter and now, my daughter is doing fantastic! She is fully included in school and doing great! Then, I started having issues with my teenage son. I had gone to about 4 different specialists before I brought him to Dr. Sutcliffe. That one appointment was more productive than all the visits he's ever had combined. It was the most informative, encouraging, supportive appointment ever. She is so thorough and she has a way of explaining complex issues and ideas into simple analogies that can help us parents to get a real understanding of what is going on with our children. She also always has a plan and an answer for all of our questions, so there is always forward progress. She is kind, encouraging, and really, I feel like I have someone in my corner, fighting for and supporting me. I regret the fact that I really should have just started with Dr. Sutcliffe. I was so frustrated before I got to her about everything, and now, I really, truly can say that I feel a new found hope knowing that Dr. Sutcliffe is on our team! I highly, highly recommend her. Can't say enough good things about her! Her staff is also easy to work with, gets back to you right away, and is also great!

Dr. Sutcliffe and her team are truly dedicated to both their patients and the families, and take the time to really get to know each family in order to help the kids that they work with develop to their best potential. We have been with the clinic since it was started, and each time we come in for an appointment, Dr. Sutcliffe makes sure my son feels heard and understood in a way that many adults and practitioners do not because he is autistic. Working with the Sutcliffe Clinic has been an important component of my son's development, and we are deeply appreciative of Dr. Sutcliffe's time and insights over the years. While the fact that the clinic does not take insurance may be daunting, do not let it deter you because under some plans the charges can be submitted by the family via a manual claim for full reimbursement.

Our son has been a patient of Dr. Sutcliffe's for 15 years. She diagnosed him with autism when he was 3 years old. I remember her being so knowledgeable and compassionate during that initial visit. She really took her time explaining the diagnosis to us and helped us digest everything. He was later diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder, and she has been managing his medication for that since he was 8 years old. It's a very scary thought to have to put your child on medication for anxiety but we did it after careful deliberation with her. She always monitored him closely and it has been life-changing for our son and our family. Over the years, she has given us excellent guidance regarding speech, occupational, and behavioral therapies; social skills groups; and psychology/counseling. Every individual with autism is very different, but I know that Dr. Sutcliffe truly knows and understands our son as a person. This is extra impressive given that our son doesn't like to talk very much! Dr. Sutcliffe and her team of specialists are experts in this field and are a pleasure to work with. And they understand how milestones that are ordinary for other children are big celebrations for us (like when my son went to prom!). Our son is now 18 years old and is attending a local community college. We could not have made it this far without her guidance and support. I highly recommend Dr. Sutcliffe and the team at The Sutcliffe Clinic.

We have been working with Sutcliffe since my daughter received her ASD diagnosis in 2020. We got a lot of support from them during the COVID shutdown, when Sutcliffe was one of the few clinics providing in-person ABA sessions. The BCBA and BTs working with my daughter are great; the team is also very collaborative and open to engaging with other private providers my kid uses (like speech therapists) to establish a cohesive plan of care. We have never had issues with scheduling; the team is highly reliable and punctual. In addition to getting high quality ABA services, we continue to work with Dr. Sutcliffe and Dr. Arruda, who are amazing as well.

Can't say enough good things about the Sutcliffe Clinic. We have been clients for going on 8 years now, and they helped get us through some of our toughest times as we navigated the best options for our son as well as dealing with the school system. They have always been there to guide us through whatever we were going through at the moment. While they are there to primarily help the child, they make sure you, as parents, are doing okay as well and that act of kindness is something you don't see often.

Sutcliffe clinic is highly knowledgable about how to manage ADD, ADHD, Anxiety and OCD... and I am sure much more. What separates them from the rest is they are 'contemporary' in their practice, meaning, they are not just going to prescribe meds and cut you loose. They help the child with natural therapeutic means as well as important prescriptions. We absolutely love them and recommend them often.
