The Urban Dentist

I was impressed by the inclusivity and how queer-friendly the practice seemed. But that’s where the positives end. They’ve canceled my appointment twice with little notice, because of “sickness.” Today, my 8 a.m. appointment was canceled just 14 minutes before I arrived—I was already at the door when I got the notification. That’s unacceptable. Patients are warned about being charged if we cancel without sufficient notice, but what about the practice's accountability? Shouldn’t they have a better solution than simply canceling and leaving patients hanging? I didn’t want to return today, but I planned to update them on my situation through another dentist. In terms of proficiency, I also can’t vouch for them. Twice, they failed to identify the cause of my tooth pain, dismissing it as a “gum issue.” A different dentist, however, found a crack in my tooth. Take from this what you will.

I’ve been a patient for 3-4 years and so far all doctors and receptionist have been super nice, speak good English, and are usually on time with the schedule ? Apart from routine check ups, I had cleanings and very nicely done esthetic fillings. Highly recommend!

I have been a patient at The Urban Dentist for just over a year now, and I have been very happy with my experience so far, especially my Invisalign treatment which I completed two months ago. I was under the care of Dr Dimitrov and I honestly cannot rate her highly enough! She was so professional and thorough throughout the whole treatment. Right from the start she was very realistic about what could be achieved with the Invisalign treatment, and along the way I felt that she was really invested in my treatment and made sure that any adjustments that were needed were made along the way. She was always very accommodating to fit in the treatment and appointments around my schedule, and things never felt rushed. If you are thinking about getting Invisalign then I would strongly recommend you see Dr Dimitrov! I am finally happy with my smile :)

I had a double surgery to remove two of my wisdom teeth. Dr Alef was very kind and informative, before the surgery and after. He did it very fast and well! I can only recommend him in case you need a surgery! I Felt confident from the very beginning as he made me feel like it was not a big deal. And that’s totally true. I recovered well, didn’t suffer at all. Also, the assistent was super cool! All in all, my experience with the Urban Dentist ran smooth and I will definitely go back in the future. Extremely disappointed, so disappointed that I had to delete my positive 5 ? review and make a lower one! I have been going there for more than 1 year, and the last time (2 weeks ago) I went for a cleaning and a light bleaching, well my teeth started to be sensitive after the treatment (and they weren't sensitive before) I waited 1 week to see if the situation would be better and maybe become a little less sensitive, it didn't happen so 1 week ago I sent an email saying what happened and if there was something thay maybe I could've done to help me with the pain, even more because the person that did the service on me said that i shouldn't have had any sensitivity, i didnt ask to be seen again nor I was complaining, I was merely asking for advice on what to do to calm down my pain and sensitivity and I was blatantly ignored, today is 1 week since my email and 2 weeks since my treatment and I am still much in pain i can't even drink room temperature water and nobody ever reached out to me! I am appalled, one of your patients tells you that they are in pain after a service done at your studio and you think that the best course of action is to ignore them? Well you definitely not gonna see me in there again! Surreal and shocking 2 stars because I feel generous, but this kind of behaviour specially from a medical practice deserves 0 stars! Edit as of September 2024. 1 ⭐ because 0 is not allowed! Eventually they reached out to me 2 generous weeks after the incident, saying that they had a problem with their internet, but I can't understand how nobody could answer email even from their phone or home computers, talk about customer service, they booked me a random appointment on a week day without checking if I was available or anything, when I told them that I wasn't available they told me that could only see me at the end of August, so it would habe been several weeks after I started to feel pain, I declined and I said I would have gone somewhere else, since then no more communication has been done! Long story short I went somewhere to check the damage that was done and basically the filling was removed while doing the bleaching treatment (filling done at this same studio) so now I had to pay several hundreds euros to repair all the damage that was done. I am actually seeking legal advice! Shocked is an understatement!

Great dental practice. I came here 18 months ago with dental phobia, and now I am happy to go everytime. The staff is dedicated, professional, kind. I was always explained every procedure clearly and kindly, even for bigger surgery like tooth extraction or implant.
