Dr. Nick is the best! A dentist that's actually fun. I just love the murals in the rooms. The staff are friendly and welcoming also. They even decorated for Halloween. Love it!

Pretty good bedside manner and very talkative but everything else is AWFUL. Got a crown and a filling, didn’t numb me enough and I had to ask for more novacaine TWICE. Used an antiquated dental practice called dental packing that made my tooth ache for a week after and that’s just me.

Incorrectly diagnosed my kid with a cavity under a crown even after being told she’s never had a crown, then after insurance wouldn’t cover it tried to talk me into paying him $3000 to fix it, went to Davis Smiles? 50 dollars out the door.

The guy is literally a scam artist, I’m filing a complaint with the dental board, he should not have a license. Worst dentist I have ever had any experience with. DO NOT GO HERE

Doctor Nic is the best dentist I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I had a lot of anxiety prior to my first appointment, well over 15 years ago now. He is patient, kind and damn good at his job. In fact, I trust him so much at one point I was having work done I pretty much fell asleep. People rarely know how much dental work I have had because his work is seamless. Not only is his work top notch but he hires well, all his associates are sweet and caring. Have I been gatekeeping this treasure in Davis, why yes I have. But I am making it right, now. If you want someone that will tell you honestly what is happening, what the associated costs are and do it all while being an exceptional human, I would pick him. In fact I moved out of the area and made sure I could still keep him as a dentist. Twin Pines Dental is honestly a treasure.

They want 50 buck for all office visits, even if insurance covers your evaluation and radiographic image.
The co pays set by insurance are not honored.
The dentist acts as out of network, and charges whatever he decides.
If you decide to do business here, at least wait for your claim to be fully processed.
They hoping no one disputes their crazy upcharges. Veryyyyyy sketchy business practices!
Avoid at all cost.

Friendly and personable staff throughout. Plus they are expertly skilled and do great work, which is probably the most important part.
I also appreciated their converting to digital X-ray, and other improved technology and systems years before it became popular.

This is worst dental office I have never been for 12 years in the USA. The lady in the front desk was rude and she told me 2 months ago for an appointment and then 3 days before the appointment I called was still in the waiting list. When I took my son, it took us 40 mins waiting in the front desk to be check-in. Run away if you can...
