I absolutely hate that I needed braces at my age, but since I do and I'm currently wearing them, I knew I wouldn't go any place other than UAB School of Dentistry. I took my kids to get braces 2 years (2022). The staff at UAB School of Dentistry are very professional and they do quality work. For a few months, all three of us were in braces at the same time. My kids have recently gotten their braces off and their teeth look amazing. Little did I know I would need braces too, due to shifting over the years. I'm glad I chose UAB School of Dentistry again. I am very pleased with how affordable they are compared to other places. I'm very pleased with their professionalism and I highly recommend UAB School of Dentistry.

In Birmingham temporarily with a severe toothache. I read the reviews and was kinda hesitant. I went during the walk-in clinic hours. From the time I walked through the doors until I walked out... everyone was so warm and welcoming. The receptionist Cherylin was amazing. Luke the resident that did my initial exam was super friendly and determined the best plan was an extraction. Sydney the resident that did the actual procedure made sure I was comfortable. My tooth gave her the blues, but she remained calm and confident. The doctor had to come in to offer assistance. If I needed to come back again, I definitely would. Surely without the hesitation.

I was referred here by another dentist because I had underlying conditions and thought it would be best to have extractions done here. However, this was the WORST experience of my life. The student they had working with me had no concern of my comfortability and how it would affect me once I left there. I have not been able to eat comfortably since having the teeth pulled 5 days ago and I’m in soooo much pain

I really enjoyed my visit today, it was my first dentist visit at UAB School of dentistry. The two young ladies at the front desk are just amazing! They are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, kind and so professional!! It truly is a breath of fresh air to be greeted with such wonderful energy.

It was really hard to get my follow up appointment, but the residents are very nice and friendly. It takes a lot of time and you won’t be treated on your first visit, it’s just a consultation for x-rays and costs about $80. Any treatment happens on a different day with a more senior student on the second floor.

My first time hearing about this place and I am glad I did my research. I almost said forget it after having a hard time finding a parking spot but I managed to find it and everything went smooth. The staff were professional and the facility is well kept. The wait time was not long..maybe 20 minutes and they did not have an issue with me being late to my appointment but that was because I do not know Birmingham well and traffic. I brought my x-ray from my exam which eliminated them doing an exam and being able to get straight to the point. They checked my blood pressure and looked over my x-ray and said they could do it today. The doctor explained every option clear and let me decide what I wanted done with my wisdom teeth not just telling me no you have to do this or that. The payment process was easy and I did not have to see different people just one and the price was AMAZING! better than the others. The assistant I believe a student did a great job. Made sure I was okay during the procedure and explained what to da after. I did not feel judged but comfortable and they knew what they were doing. UAB is doing a great job with getting those students ready for their field. I highly recommend.

Fiancé came in for wisdom tooth extraction, within a week he had an infection which we had to come back to get drained and treated. Not only did they gaslight us into trying to think it’s our fault but wouldn’t even entertain the fact that it was an infection (tried to say he had a dry socket) when they should’ve prescribed him preventative antibiotics after his original appointment (which they claimed they did but DID NOT). Wont be coming back. If you’re gonna spend over $800 out of pocket anyways might as well go to people who know what they’re doing. If I could give 0 stars I would. They love to throw around those hydrocodone prescriptions though.

It should be be so hard to get in contact with the school, I have called multiple times in the pass week with no answer or anyone calling me back. How am I suppose to know what I need to do following surgery. This is ridiculous and need to start answering phone instead of standing there listening to the phone ring!!!
