Lecture halls are MASSIVE. My first class at my first major university was in this building, and I was immediately overwhelmed with the size of the lecture halls--that being said, I very much get why they exist, and they're very handy when needed. A good building for general education courses and specialty science courses as well, but the large size of the lecture classes make it basically impossible to forge any relationship with a given professor unless you manage to wiggle your way into one of their research studies. Part of the territory that comes with attending such a large school.
