The phyciaty department at united health is the worst experience I've ever had. The doctors don't ever do what they say they will do its an absolute joke. I spent 2 months trying to get my medication. My first doctor I was seeing made me wait 2 weeks for him to send my prescription to the pharmacy and it only got done because after many phone calls I had to go talk to the manager face to face and she made him send the medication finally. Then I went for my follow up appointment to get the dosage hired and I was informed the doctor had quit. So united told me my only option was to go see a phyc doctor in Hanford so I could get my medication refilled. I live in fresno so I desperately had to drive all the way to Hanford and I was 5 minutes late and the doctor didn't see me. Instead I talked to her on the phone at the front counter and I told her I need my medication refilled and she said she would do it the same day, this was Friday so I waited and waited and still nothing was sent to the pharmacy. I've been calling united 3 times a day and once again they tell me they sent the doctor a note and once again they don't follow through with a simple but very important medication refill . Idk about the rest of the doctors at united but if you need a psychiatrist I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THE DOCTORS AT UNITED.

I have been going to this clinic for a few months not long after they opened up. One of the few pluses about it is the location as it is convenient as I live in Hanford. I have to give it a low review for the time being as with anything new, staff both medical and non is going to be green. Any doctors they have now being medical and dental are going to be either on their way out the door to retirement or on their way in as "trainees". What most don't understand is, as new young doctors, they have to get their "chops" up somehow, so they're going to put them in places like these to get their feet wet. Young doctors still have the pages of their medical books still ringing in their ears, so meeting quotas and going by the book is essential to garner "brownie" points with their superiors and often negating the voice of the patient and addressing their needs accordingly. A good example is my doctor gets giddy every time my results and numbers come back within expected standards as that will look good on their record because they are "managing" the patient or "subject" within "acceptability". I know how it works. So, with that being said, yes my review is "acceptable" for the time being and if it gets better over time, I will change it "accordingly".

My sister went there this morning to have her swollen ankles examined. They saw what was wrong and they could get her an appointment at 2:30. When she came back at 2:30 everyone was nice accept the doctor who said, I don't know what we can do with this, we are not urgent care." It literally says urgent care on the building. Unacceptable.

Recently moved to Hanford and did not have a doctor, Went in for bloodwork review and came out with prescription medication, ok cool it will help me fix my problem. 1 month later underlining condition of anxiety goes BERSERK! mind you, barely over the cusp and can have my condition reversed through natural methods. No, given medicine to rectify something that could have been fixed without it. Did not like that and how it made me feel so I stopped and got a second opinion. I was told by the other doctor, “as doctors we sometimes have bad habits”. Trust your gut, get a second opinion if you feel it necessary I personally do not like how Dr. Villavazo handled my situation.

Horrible experience by Dr. Alvarado Garcia. Non compassionate service and lost blood results. No referrals to a real dr ‘just because’ when I have a literal medical condition that’s still present and gets half treated 😂. Tried to get a referral to a specialist and they told me I don’t have a problem or to just go to the Emergency Room. Then goes on to say it will never go away or get fully treated but it could if they were an actual doctor 🤣.
