I was moving and needed to transfer my orthodontic care, but University Dental has made the process incredibly difficult. I have been requesting my transfer documents since December 2023, and they refuse to provide them, preventing me from continuing my treatment.

To make things worse, the representative at the office didn’t even know what a transfer form was, which shows a complete lack of professionalism. Now, they are using the excuse that they don’t require the form, even though my new orthodontist has specifically requested it. Instead of simply providing the information needed, they continue to refuse and make the process impossible.

Due to their refusal to provide necessary records, I have contacted the California Dental Board to report their unprofessionalism. If you ever need to transfer your records, don’t expect them to make it easy. I would not recommend this office to anyone.
I understand that while the form may not be required on their part, that doesn’t mean a patient doesn’t require it—especially when a new provider has specifically requested it. I have sent dozens of emails back and forth requesting simple information that would take them no more than 15 minutes to fill out, yet they continue to delay and refuse. It’s absurd that this situation has escalated this much, when all I have wanted from the start was to see a new dentist and continue my care without unnecessary obstacles. I do not recommend this Orthodontist.

I highly recommend University Dental to anyone seeking quality dental care. Their team is highly communicative, affordable, and experienced, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience. While dental visits are not my favorite, they made the process seamless and addressed all my needs. I am thoroughly impressed with their service and will definitely return for future treatments.

I’ve been coming to University Dental for a dental implant surgery due to a failed root canal from years ago. It’s been an amazing experience despite my anxiety around dental work. The Dr. is very gentle, kind, and makes me feel at ease during each procedure.

It was really good in and out had a tooth pulled tooth ready for bone and implant in no time everyone pleasant doctor very good about explaining things said it was going to hurt a little and did not no brushing s or swelling looked normal next day. So far very happy.

Went to University Dental on Christmas Eve for emergency implant maintenance. Great staff, amazing assistants, Doctors are top notch focused on the area of concern and taking care of patients needs. Highly recommended this dental office. Thank you University Dental.

I am visiting this office for 4 years. In this 4 years they consistently changed doctors without let the patients know. After you get there, then they will tell you “oh the last doctor doesn’t work here anymore”!………also I have been told I need a crown for a teeth with ABSOLUTELY no pain, and now after putting crown my teeth is aching, so sensitive and I can’t even bite food on that side!!!!!!

I was extremely disappointed with my recent experience at University Dental, Doctor and Staff. Despite their advertising claims of flexible payment plans and financing options, I found their practices to be misleading and dishonest.
I was upfront about my financial situation and offered a reasonable payment plan, but they insisted on a significant upfront payment for a temporary procedure that wasn’t of my concern and wouldn't solve the issue I was there for.
This felt like a bait-and-switch tactic, and I believe it’s important to warn others about this deceptive behavior.
I urge potential patients to do their due diligence and consider other options. Past accolades and media appearances do not guarantee ethical business practices. It’s disheartening to see such a discrepancy between advertising and reality.
