The dentist, dental assistants and office lady are the most caring group of ladies I've ever seen. So kind and thoughtful and helpful. When was getting fillings done they actually listened to me when said didn't get enough numbing and gave me more, when they were drilling they saw that my lips were dry and put Vaseline on them so that they wouldn't crack, and they made sure to let me know that if I was getting too overwhelmed that could always take a break. Super detail oriented, person oriented, and you can tell that they all genuinely care about their job and what they do. I will never go to another dentist again they are amazing!

There is good communication between the front desk and the dentist. The latest equipment is used for all procedures. I highly recommend Dr. Walsh for all procedures, including periodical cleaning of teeth.

My mother, Panny Benavidez recently passed. I took her to Village Square Dental for her partial and cleanings and other dental work the last few years of her life. I found this notation in her desk drawer in her scraggly Stage 4 Parkinson’s handwriting:

“I AM VERY, VERY HAPPY WITH DR. WALSH’S PROFESSIONAL CARE. SHE’S GREAT! HER EXCELLENT, COURTEOUS STAFF MAKE YOU FEEL AT HOME. ALWAYS ATTENTIVE & POLITE.”

My Mom had a LOT of doctors. She was only really impressed by Dr. Walsh and her staff and I want to honor the one and only review she gave in her life by posting it for her vicariously.

DO NOT GO TO VILLAGE SQUARE DENTAL IF YOU NEED A MAJOR PROCEDURE OR HAVE ACCUTE PAIN.
Dr Walch DOES NOT LISTEN to or READ her patients written comments re their teeth pain. For a little lady, Walch has an ego so BIG she can't admit when she's made a mis-diagnosis or that she's too scared to do any major procedures such as root canals or extractions?
In two months of going to Village Square, the one sore molar which I went there for was NEVER worked on?
Instead Walch re-filled 3 other existing fillings (none were in pain) and her staff was full steam ahead on basic and deep cleanings to treat my molar pain? When I addressed Walch directly re the original sore molar which was now worse under her care, she denied that my written and verbal comments were true. Rather than taking responsibility for her mistake, Walch advised me that my molar pain must have changed locations from when I arrived. Walch finally admitted she couldn't diagnose the problem and gave me the choice of a referral to her specialist in Palmdale (2hrs drive) or Bakersfield (1hr drive)..
I immediately drove from Village Square Dental to Dr Haar at Sky Mountain Dental 3 miles away.. Within 30 minutes their staff was able to check me in and diagnose the IMMEDIATE need for a root canal for the same molar I went to Walch for.
Their second opinion X-rays were amazingly more clear and definitive than the (3) sets of X-rays taken at Village Square. I found out that Dr Walch typically refers out major procedures because she can't perform them? She should have been honest and referred me out when I arrived!
The level of care from most of the staff at Village Square almost makes up for their poor quality X-ray machines, however DR WALCH is a DANGER TO THE PUBLIC BECAUSE SHE DOES NOT LISTEN TO THE SPECIFIC DETAILS FROM HER PATIENTS.
On top of this, she over billed the insurance company and then tried to give me the overage check.. maybe to make me a happy client, not enough zero's for that!!!
Unfortunately this is the first time I've ever had to file a complaint report on a doctor to the ca state board dept of consumer affairs and straighten out overpayment issues with my insurance provider.

The best dentist Ive been to. They take the time to do a thorough cleaning everytime. The dentist is skilled and I dont feel any pain during work on cavities or crowns. Been going here 6 years

Dr. Walch & Jocelyn were very gentle with my 1 year old son. They took photos of the teeth and performed a cleaning without a problem!

Do not go here. They lied about performing a cleaning procedure. It was never done. I only received an estimate which I thought was too high. When I tried to get a second opinion, the insurance company told me they had already received a payment so I could not get my yearly free dental cleaning. I do not trust them since this is a case of insurance fraud.
