NP Christopher Taylor at Lake Elsinore and staff including Carla and I believe Jonathan at the front desk went out of their way to take care of me. I’m much obliged and understand the rules of operations and it’s hard to make everyone happy but they took care of me and they are always so polite. I’d say to everyone reading this before leaving a bad review understand what medical professionals have to go through far as rules and policies. Thank you for helping me. 10 star service !

So I'll start off by saying this the nurse staff and clerical are super kind and caring.. but that's where the good ends

I came in for a Sonogram with Dr.Franics; he was rushy complained about the gown I was given and overall insensitive about my needs/concerns as a expecting mother(wish to wait for pelvic exam)&(had prior miscarriage). I didn't get a date from my ultrasound or pictures and only got to see the baby for like 30sec. I highly recommend not seeing him. I arrived on time as well and waited till 845am till 940am to be seen. Just an overall uncomfortable visit compared to my first.

Dr Francis failed to tell me my kiddo might have downs. They gave me the run around stating the specialist would inform me of why I was labeled high risk. Then the specialist said my ob would tell me. Wtf. My baby came out healthy but I didn't like that. It's clear they were trying to keep me in the dark so I'd make it past the 24 weeks. So unethical

First the good, then the bad: I actually really liked Nurse Practitioner Keith Montgomery (I’ll give him 5 stars) he went above and beyond when it came to concerns regarding my son, and was the first Dr/nurse practitioner that took my concerns seriously and actually discovered something that others have missed. Now on to the bad and why I won’t be returning: On my very first visit there for my son (12 years old) I had walked back with him to do vitals and they asked me to wait in the waiting room. Initially I thought nothing of it and figured it was just a tight space in the area where they were doing vitals. Where I was sitting in the waiting room I could see my son through the small glass window and he had a concerned/confused look on his face. But I went back to checking emails on my phone, all of a sudden I had a sick feeling in my stomach and felt something was wrong (mother’s intuition 🤷🏻‍♀️) So I grabbed my purse and knocked on the door and asked to be let it, as now I don’t even see my son anywhere in the back. They told me I have to wait, which only intensified my bad gut feeling. And I started getting panicked and repeatedly asking “where is my son?” I finally saw my son walk around the corner, and the Nurse who opened the door was blocking me from entering the back. She said because of his age he needs to be questioned alone. And I kept telling her that he’s only 12, you can ask whatever questions you need to that’s fine, but I want to be with my son. But she kept trying to get me to sit back down in the waiting room and looking at me and treating me as if I was crazy or hiding something. They finally let me back and placed my son and I in an exam room. And my son was just as shocked and nerve wracked as I was. He doesn’t understand why they separated us in the first place as that has never happened before and he relies on me to answer questions for him. Because he’s a 12 year old BOY, need I say more?! 2 nurses met us in the room to ask their questions all while looking at me like I’m a sketchy ass parent 😂 But I had a gut feeling and my motherly instincts kicked in, can’t really help that! Anyways I kept mulling over it so I decided to look further into VCC and saw on their website that they help minors with gender affirming care. And well that answered all my questions, and told me everything I needed to know about that facility!

If you like jumping through hoops like a circus animal and doing other peoples jobs for them you may like this place. Terrible “customer service”. No organization. You have to really advocate for yourself to get ANYTHING done. Practically hold their hand and dumb it down (and most of the time that doesn’t even do the trick.) You get treated like you’re an inconvenience by front staff.

Had a filling done that left a pocket; the filling was done incorrectly. I couldn’t make another appointment because they say they don’t schedule in advance. How is that conducive to peoples schedules? I tried for months and ultimately had to switch dentists. By then the botched filling required a root canal.

Another apt was for a wellness exam. They took blood; but not after poking me 6 times by 3 different people. I was not told prior to this that for the best results that being hydrated was essential.

Another apt (by phone) the provider requested specific forms to be filled out. She said I could pick them up with the office. I called and left a message on the patient portal asking if I could get these forms emailed as the clinic is 35 minutes from me. No response. After repeat calls and messages via the portal with no response I went in and the staff were so confused by the form request. They said they’d check with management and call me. Weeks passed. I had to follow up again, no response. My provider and I had our follow up apt and she asked about the forms in which I told her the troubles I had. Finally got the forms. 2 months later! All in which they could have been found on Google. What is the point of having a patient portal with messaging capabilities and not rendering responses? The staff acted absolutely clueless and I had to repeat myself multiple times. As harsh as this review sounds I assure you I was respectful and calm in person, but did grow frustrated the more times I had to repeat and as I watched them be befuddled (while maintaining composure.)

Another apt I requested an optometry apt as it’s been a few years since I had my glasses prescription renewed. I got a referral to a place and all they did was dialate my eyes and push a dry eye treatment; come to find out they don’t even do prescription renewal for glasses as I specifically requested with primary. So I did some more calls and hoop jumping to get that referral fixed and set a new apt to another place. Days prior to apt I was called that the referral had an issue. Had to correct again and reschedule. Today I went to the apt. I was TWO MINUTES late and was standing in line and the front desk staff didn’t see me (around the desk pillar) for a few minutes and then told me “I’ll have to see if you can be seen since you’re late.” At this point after so many issues with this office I got noticeably irritated for the first time, I said I was literally right there in a tone. (No cussing, just obvious distaste.) I then waited 10 mins and she then said that I can wait 20 mins to see if the next apt shows up. How can a provider not have availability to see someone 2 mins past apt time; then 15 mins after due to employee? There is no way they are that busy. Mind you lobby was empty. At this point I was done with this office and said I’ll just leave. I’ll find a better office.

I had previously had no issues until they expanded. No issues with my care which included an IUD replacement.

Additionally I will say some of the drs I’ve seen are decent and helpful. As well as the nurses being helpful and friendly. Just terrible overall customer relations and management. Maybe growing pains? All in all it was too many strikes and time to move on for me. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time.

I’ll say getting my medical records sent was the fastest thing they did. Laughable really.

Got to the clinic for my appointment for them to tell me that it was cancelled. I never cancelled it but they said I did, which just isn't true. I guess they cancelled or overbooked their appointments and didn't want to own their mistake. I had to drive 40 minutes one way and have someone babysit my child for this appointment and the next available appointment is 2 weeks away, and I'm moving a few days after that and will be extremely busy so this is very inconvenient. Based on the other reviews it's apparent that this place is not run correctly. The doctor I saw (once) seemed like a good one so that's why I added an extra star to this review. Doesn't really matter though if I can't get in to see him with them cancelling my appointments!

First - do not expect them to help you if you have Covid. My significant other came down with Covid who has a lot of side issues and they have prescribed Claritin, cough meds and ibuprofen. They didn’t give him Paxlovid which is what they give to people who can easily get bad quick. I’ve had to deal with these people a lot not for me but for the person I’m with don’t ever expect to call the clinic directly to make your appointment cuz you are calling a call center. We are going through a cancer scare right now and who wants to deal with every appointment being scheduled for weeks out? These inept doctors are gonna end up letting him die. I’m so angry😡

My doctors amazing. The staff on the other hand acts so rude and not very accommodating. Bernice was quick to just act like she can’t do anything other than make an appointment. I filled my disability papers over 2 months ago, sent over and came in Person to leave documents to be filled out and upon so they took them then never called me and just keep saying to make an appointment we have done this process now twice and when they schedule me they say telaheth is fine. Then when I come to turn in documents Bernice says I can’t take them and the whole time she has this look from holding back he laughter at my situation. Very unprofessional. Then she started to just wait to see if I can drop off the papers without an appointment. Leaves me waiting 10 mins then when I return to her window she laughs cause I asked how much longer, now she is staying I can drop off the documents.
