I wish I could leave no stars at all. I am so upset with how the pharmacy deals with the communication towards Kids medication. SOME KIDS REALLY NEEDS THEIR MEDS.
I took my son to see his doctor and to refill his medication, which is very important for him to keep taking. I went to the pharmacy and picked up all his medication’s and I was missing one, the very most important one. I asked the pharmacist is there anything else? My son is missing one? The pharmacist response was no ma’am. So I had to make another appointment with my son doctor and told the doctor he didn’t send my son medication which he needs for school. And he looked at me surprised and confused, but he sent it again to the pharmacy. So today I went to pick up the medication and they only gave me one. AGAIN. I looked at the pharmacist and said to him, my son is missing one more and I am 100% sure that the doctor sent it. The pharmacist looked and he said oh yeah… We don’t refill these for new patients… I looked at the pharmacist like for real? And now you tell me this? Like… When were you planning to tell me this? This is the second time going to pick up the same medication and the pharmacist had no intention at all to tell me that they didn’t refill to “new patients” FIRST OF ALL MY SON IS NOT A NEW PATIENT AND HE’S BEEN ON THIS SAME MEDICATION FOR YEARS!!!
OMG!!! You would think these people would be smart enough to have clear communication with their customers. Never have I ever had such an experience like this one in my life. My kid needs his medication and these people give a crap about others needs. It only takes one phone call. One phone call is enough to let people know.

I called this pharmacy today to ask about a prescription for my husband and the gentleman acted very odd to me. We are visiting from KY and stayed a bit longer than anticipated, so my husband needed to pick up his prescription of testosterone. I asked the pharmacist if he could have it called into Walgreens and he said, “Well, we have to do a prescription verification and all that before we can fill it.” I said ok, so his dr can call it into Walgreens (which was all I really needed to know) and he said, well yeah, I CANT GUARANTEE WE WILL FILL IT, but yeah. Like what does that even mean Why is he acting as if there is a reason why they wouldn’t fill it If the doctor calls it in and the prescription is due to he filled, what else would be the problem Then I asked about accepting out of state insurance and he was like Oh no, no, no… that can’t be billed here. Although it was in a nice tone, I felt like he was being condescending from the beginning. I wonder if this is another one of the many places that are owned and run by Scientologists (like everything else in Clearwater) One thing I can guarantee is that we will not be using Walgreens of Clearwater, that’s for sure. We will be going to the kind people of Walmart pharmacy in St. Pete.

The pharmacy at this Walgreens is exceptional, absolutely excellent, and Trew is a gem. I wish people at other businesses of every kind could see how they operate at this Walgreens pharmacy and learn how it should be done.

My review is of the pharmacy. They are wonderful and knowledgeable and on point. Any issues I have ever had were with insurance or prescriber, not the pharmacy itself and they have always done what they could to help. They always try to get the lowest price for you. I have been using them for a very long time and always appreciate the outstanding job they do.

This place has gone to hell...lady running register is always "sick", always "slow", my god a snail could work & walk faster. Other then picking un scripts, DONE shopping here....
