My name is Jacob James Neagle and I am a real patient of Dr. Cameron Johnson. I wholeheartedly recommend World Class Dentistry to anyone that desires a holistic approach and truly a world class treatment. As of right now I have been a patient for over 38 months. I received my consultation in July 2021 and started my treatment in August of 2021. It is now October 4th, 2024 and I as of today had my braces taken off with just in 2 weeks from now having my final polish and presumably viewing the light at the end of the tunnel. I initially approached World Class Dentistry because as a professional live event painter I was finally accumulating the financial means to address the insecurities of my smile since I could not afford such a luxury as an impoverished child and earning my way in this life. My beautiful wife, Alexa, found this Practice after researching places that used holistic approaches, since that means a lot to us, and recommended it to me. At the start my desire was to hire them to fix my upper front teeth so that my smile appeared more “Hollywood” to others using high-quality veneers, assuming it would solve my main insecurity, but upon my initial consultation Dr. Johnson and his colleagues recommended to me the less expensive option by going the orthodontic route, to acquire braces since my teeth were healthy and that my smile was salvageable and they saw that I innately had a beautiful smile (despite me thinking otherwise). I was immediately impressed because they did not try to “upsell” me for doing the veneers (which would have been more expensive, by my guesstimation compared to what my braces cost out of pocket, which was approximately $8k). I accepted their proposal and trusted their guidance. It has been a long road, and some hiccups. Not to their detriment, but I attribute the discrepancies to my teeth being irregular and for me perhaps not being the ideal / perfect candidate. I initially had spacers for my molars, then a “double-quad-helix” to expand my upper palette. I have had many months of various band changes, and other methods, including band usages, to get me to where I am. I am so thankful for Dr. Johnson’s kind approach, not just in his actual care while I was being treated in the office, but how he worded his projections / expectations. Sure, we initially hoped for maybe a total of 20 months of treatment, but to gauge expectation he was careful and wise to not to give me false hope and I also a co-participant in this endeavor gave grace while walking this all out knowing, hey, my teeth are not perfect and I am going with the flow of it all. I know, among many reasons, that World Class Dentistry is ethical and does things right, because they did not rush me out. They were patient with me and took their time with me and what my teeth were giving them, even if it was not conducive to any business model. Most other practices (assumably) would have rushed me out by the 24th month mark. Perhaps I would have done methods that other Practices would have implemented that World Class Dentistry did not do, just to get me out the door to get another patient in so that they could earn the next buck. But they did not do that. Dr. Johnson notably told me a few visits ago “I am in it for the long haul” meaning: he wasn’t going to rush me out the door to do things right and to serve me well in the long run. Amen. As I previously mentioned, I had my brackets taken off today, and within 2 weeks from now I will have my final polish and the light at the end of the tunnel will have come. I say all this to say I am so thankful I chose World Class Dentistry. It is important to note that any medical relationship is two-sided: meaning the doctor must perform ethically, but even more prudently the patient has the responsibility to remain faithful they will continue to see it through well. I can confidently say I persevered, remaining patient throughout the entire process and so thankful to World Class Dentistry, specifically to Dr. Johnson as well as his right hand lady, Jenna.
