WOW smiles has been nothing short of efficient, effective; making it a much enjoyable experience for my 10 year old. They explain everything clearly, they have affordable monthly payments, and you just feel like you are in the right hands. The fact that my daughter always “hated Dentist’s” yet now comes here and says she loves WOW should say it all (If you only knew her).

I wanted to write a review for Dr. Jenn Stachel a while back but never got around to it and just found out that her office in NY closed. I originally chose Dr. Stachel because of positive reviews stating her attention to detail and perfectionism. I did not receive either. Most of my time in her office was spent with her assistants and she would look at my teeth for < 1 minute. I found her cold, distant, and dismissive. As for her work itself: I was quoted ~18 months for my Invisalign but it turned out to be almost 3 years. In the middle of the process, Dr. Stachel almost wanted to stop the treatment but I expressed to her that my teeth weren't straight enough, to which she responded that perfectly straight teeth isn't the "aesthetic" now (...WHAT?!). After a few more months, I decided to accept the result because it was just taking too long. 3 years and thousands of dollars later....my teeth do not look like I ever had Invisalign. Extremely disappointing experience.

Zero stars for Jennifer Stachel
There’s no word to express how disappointed we are with Dr. Jennifer Stachel. She abandoned her patients in NYC without saying anything. Today, I just found out that her office in Manhattan is permanently closed. While under her care, it was very difficult to get a follow up appointment after visits or over the phone. The last few appointments we had to go in person to schedule them because they NEVER answered the phone.
People of Monterrey don’t waste your time and hard earned money with “Dr. Jen” at WOW Smiles. Yes, she will “be cheerful and nice” but you or your kid will have the job done by her assistants and she will spend a minute or two with her patients. Oh! And the 18 months treatment it will be a long ride for over two or more years. Be aware!
The reviews are disabled for her NYC office SMH. You should be ashamed of yourself “Dr. Jen”!

Extremely disappointed with Dr. Stachel’s unprofessional behavior. After paying over $7,500 upfront for treatment, we and many other patients were abandoned when she closed her New York practice and moved to California without notice. For over a year, there were abysmal operations, limited communication, and misinformation regarding incomplete treatments. She only sent a general email on 8/30/24 after patients started showing up at her now-empty office and speaking out.

Dr. Stachel’s disregard for her patients' well-being is unacceptable. Avoid at all costs.

I happened to come across this place when I was looking into Invisalign and they were labeled as a Diamond+ provider, or something like that. The free consultation was SUPER indepth which brought a HUGE smile on my face because I did a separate one before going to WOW! Smiles and I was not left impressed. However, I met with the doctor and she is very knowledgeable and helpful. She was able to pin point what I wanted to do before I was able to tell her. The staff here is AMAZING! Over the phone, in person, all of them are just wonderful to be around and talk to. I just started my treatment and am greatly looking forward to going back over the months. Thank you for being such a friendly place to be at!

Buyer beware with Dr. Jennifer Stachel, she left her practice in NY without notifying patients and left many patients treatments incomplete. Patients haven’t heard from her in several months and had no knowledge that she sold her practice. Don’t be fooled in payment in full to get a discount, once she has all your money you will just get poor treatment.Also, I just received some off brand version of my supposed final retainers. They have no official markings of the Invisalign brand and so now they are passing off fake products when we paid for Invisalign brand. Check her certification and go somewhere else with actual doctors. Very sketchy in my opinion, look elsewhere. Should be 0 stars
