The office is clean, modern and in a good location. This is the best periodontist in town!

I had a deep cleaning done! My experience was great it took about 30-40 minutes but i didn’t feel a thing my mouth was pretty numb so that’s was great (: it’s a bit pricey although my insurance helped me with some but over all i think the Dr knows what he’s doing and does a great job at it definitely would go back!

On or around 8/10/18, I met with Dr. Yeung for a perio consultation. He was extremely professional, compassionate and genuinely concerned about my oral health. We developed a treatment plan and explored timeframes for my surgery. Dr. Yeung referred me to speak to the receptionist/billing personnel Teresa regarding my insurance benefits. However, she wasn't available. On 8/22/18, I was finally able to meet with Teresa to discuss my treatment plan and insurance benefits. Teresa informed me that she was going to submit a claim to my insurance company requesting authorization for my perio surgery. She further stated that the process would take approximately 5 weeks.

During the week of September 17th, I attempted to contact Teresa to see if she received any information from my insurance company. Several different office personnel answered the phone and stated Teresa wasn't in the office. I asked if there was anyone else in the office that could assist me but was told Teresa handles all of the office claims/billing. On 9/25/18, I contacted Teresa to see if she received any information from my insurance company. She stated that she just returned from vacation and had a lot of insurance letters to go through. She further stated she would follow-up with me in two days. After speaking to Teresa, I took the liberty of contacting my insurance company. I was informed that my claim was randomly selected for review and sent back to Dr. Yeung's office the end of August for additional information. I was informed that the review process would take 3-5 weeks once the information is received from Teresa/Dr. Yeung's office. I contacted Teresa again and informed her of the information I received from my insurance company. She reiterated that she needs to go through the mail and would follow-up with me in two days. I expressed concern that I'm starting to have pain in the upper left side of my mouth and I couldn't wait another 3-5 weeks. Teresa attempted to normalize the review process and stated she would call me back.

It's October 8th and I still haven't heard back from Teresa. I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service. I no longer believe this office cares about their patient's oral health and/or well-being.

Provided options on surgery to keep some teeth , when other periodontist wanted to just yank them. I recommend Dr Yeung.
