Reviews of Peak Health Dentistry at Gentle Care

This has been, hands down, the best dental practice I have ever used. The whole team was welcoming and kind during every appointment me or my children had.
Dan had been both mine and my children’s hygienist and made every interaction comfortable and even fun. He was gentle and patient with my children (4&2) which I greatly appreciated. He always seemed to WANT to be there and always had a great attitude! We have been to Peak Health upwards of 10x in the past three years and received quality care and instruction each time.

I had to delete my original review so I could properly rate this practice.
I want to update this review with the following information. This may be a great place to go to for routine care but if you need services done perhaps look elsewhere or do not agree to services because you’re in a immense amount of pain and they are able to fix your problem the same day. They are not upfront with their fees. At the time of my appointment, I asked for a predetermination to be done so I had an idea of what to expect as my responsibility. Every office is different with how they do things. Isa came back with a piece of paper showing my responsibility. Nobody told me that this was just an estimate and NOT a predetermination. I thought they took my benefits into consideration, did some math like any other place would, and got me my actual patient responsibility. Later I got in touch with my insurance who said a predetermination was never done. My insurance then processes the claim and the patient responsibility is now $500+ more than what I was expecting. I called the office and spoke with Valerie who never once raised her voice at me or caught an attitude like Jennifer did. I asked her why the charges on the paper the office gave me are significantly less than what was billed to my insurance. The charges on the paper should be what they bill to my insurance, not what they *think* or *expect* the insurance to pay.
I was going to wait until after my upcoming appointment to write this review because I didn’t want them to refuse to finish what they started because I posted my opinion regarding my experience with them. I considered going elsewhere to have this procedure finished instead of going through with my appointment next week but I would still be on the hook for $850+ with this place. Thankfully this is a one time relationship with this practice as I was new to the state and needed my concern addressed in a timely manner. My routine care will be handled with a different dental practice.

My original review: I hate to ruin the 5-star rating here but everything went fine until I spoke with Jennifer in the billing department.
Let me start by saying the receptionist was incredibly welcoming and friendly, Isa was amazing, friendly, and professional, and Dr. Mishler was one of the top two nicest dentists I have ever been to. The office was accommodating and was able to fix my issue during the same visit without me having to take a second day off work to come back.
But then there’s Jennifer. A few days after my appointment, I called to ask some questions after speaking with my insurance and was met with an attitude over the phone.

Quite honestly, it’s been many years since I’ve been to a dentist, mainly because it’s expensive!
The last time I went to a dentist it was here. Tom, the hygienist was very qualified and thorough. I had insurance to cover cleanings, but they suggested a deep cleaning and gave me a price. After going through the first session, I didn’t go back because of the cost.
This time was a bit different… ‘Dental Dan’ took care of me with a cleaning, and I felt he really did his job WELL. The doctor came in and discussed my further needs, and my options.
I am now retired, and on a VERY fixed income, so the ‘pain’ of going to the dentist extends far beyond the visit. But quality of life, and the desire to be able to smile without embarrassment- not to mention other life-shortening health complications of poor teeth means I have to pay.
It is still expensive, but you have to have your teeth. ?

The staff at Peak Dentistry was exceptionally kind and professional. From the moment I arrived, the receptionist greeted me warmly, setting a positive tone for my visit. The office was impeccably clean, and this standard of cleanliness extended to every area, including the treatment rooms. The dental assistant and the dentist both displayed remarkable professionalism and genuine kindness, making me feel comfortable and well-cared for throughout my visit.
Even though I wasn't able to receive my treatment at Peak Dentistry, they went above and beyond by referring me to another excellent facility for my care. Their thoughtful recommendation ensured that I received the necessary treatment from a trusted provider. Overall, I would rate my experience a perfect 5 out of 5. The staff's friendliness, the cleanliness of the office, and their commitment to patient care truly make Peak Dentistry stand out.

Today I had my Hygiene dental appointment. Daniel Walker, Hygienist; was very thorough. I could NOT have been in better hands. Excellent on the work he does. He is a People oriented kind of person.
Thank you for all you do.

Absolutely in awe of this place! Magnificent staff, extraordinary doctors, and a wonderful, clean environment! Truly recommend this place!
First visit was a cleaning and Monica was fabulous! Gentle touch, friendly, caring and she definitely is beyond adept!
Second visit was for a filling and Dr. Eric Esplin, DMD was out of this world! Skillful, informative, kind and gentle! Very attentive, very focused and helpful, and extremely perspicacious!
I don’t normally leave reviews but this clinic has definitely been top tier! If only I could give it 10 stars instead of 5.
Thank you everyone for being sweet, polite and offering superlative care!

I've always loved Peak Dentistry. Everyone is friendly and they do their very best to make you as comfortable as possible. They are also very understanding. Today I left with my mouth feeling so much better. Thank you.
This was reviewed a year ago, nothing has changed other than the health of my mouth. They take every question seriously, no matter how silly it sounds. Highly recommend.
