I recently was referred to Dr. Donahue by a retired Dentist friend.
For most of my life I had seen our family dentist until he retired over 10 years ago
After that I basically bounced around between several different dentist’s and experienced many levels of care, unfortunately most of my experiences were from ok to not ok.
I rarely (if ever )write reviews, but not doing so has bothered me since they completed my procedure, so here it goes.
I have to say that throughout this month or so long process during every step of the way during my treatment, the very very thorough explanation of the options, the attentiveness making sure I was as comfortable as possible, going the “extra mile” with they’re overall genuine interest in ensuring that I received the best possible outcome, with the final result being absolutely perfect and last but not least the my interactions with the friendly, funny and highly professional staff has been the very best I have every experienced.
I personally would (and have ) recommend Dr. Donahue and her staff for any Dentistry needs you might have.

I love my dentist! I have had great experiences at 49th State Family Dentistry. I initially found them when I sought a second opinion for dental work another office had recommended (that seemed excessive). It turns out, the first recommendation was overkill and 49th State accurately diagnosed and addressed my real issues. I have been going there ever since (8 years +/-). My hygienist, Lisa, is the absolute best, and both Dr. Lukes and Dr. Donahue are very professional and knowledgeable. I trust their expertise and appreciate how well everything is explained and how up front they are. The front of house staff is also great and wonderful to work with. I can't recommend 49th State Family Dentistry enough.

Over the past few years had multiple dental issues addressed and all have been fine. Compared to other places I've been everyone does a great job here. Dr Donohue is professional and always explains what she's doing and I feel I've finally found a place where I'm comfortable going.

The wife and I have used 49th Denistry for over 20 years and feel that they are the best we have ever had the pleasure of visiting. My dental technician (Adrienne) is wonderful. She uses a manual cleaning to help me due to the ultrasonic system causes me issues. The receptionist is courteous and so helpful with all request. My dentist Dr Donahue is always wonderful and they all remember you by name. I definitely would recommend using the 49th State Denistry ?

Disappointed at best. I went in to have one cavity filled then I was told I needed a crown (shave the tooth down and place a cap that looks like the original tooth) Not knowing the anatomy of teeth i felt pressured into getting the crown because the dentist told me "a cavity fill would only last 2-3 years and the it would have to happen". I consented despite leaving to go overseas that evening. Everything that could go wrong after did. I flew back to the states 2 weeks later my mouth was so inflammed they couldnt seat the crown. Two months later, I went to Health Centered Dentistry and they fixed the tooth after pulling resin out of the gums surrounding the tooth. The disappointing part, I paid $600 up front my insurance paid around $1600, Then I received a bill for $63. I called the office to see if this could be waived as they never installed the tooth, the front desk lady said no, I asked if I could speak with someone else regarding this and again the answer was no. I paid the bill, but will never return or recommend them to anyone. This is poor customer service.
