I have bad dental anxiety and I will say that this place was amazing. I had to have a broken tooth removed after a crown broke off. They had to cut it out and did a bone graft. Everything was pain free. The lady who did the IV was so good I didn’t even feel her poking me. The rest of the visit was just as good. The doctor is amazing. Even with stitches I do not feel as bad as I have in the past. Amazing work. He is very thorough, gentle and lays all the facts out for you. I would recommend this place to everyone. I will also be using them in the future and for when my children’s wisdoms have to come out. One of my best dental experiences.

If you are looking for best oral surgeon in AK -this is your sign! Dr. Rios-Anderson is hands down the best. I had an amazing experience with my difficult case of wisdom tooth removal. And He also gave me recommendations for how to save my other wisdom tooth with braces. So now I’m continuing my journey to have healthy teeth and beautiful smile. Dr. Rios-Anderson understands the needs of his patients. He was very pleasant and attentive during my initial appointment. I was happy with the excellent dental care provided during my implant process. His front office staff is customer oriented and greets you in-person/via telephone with a friendly tone. The front office and dental staff are just as attentive to your needs as Dr. Rios-Anderson. The day after surgery, a staff conducted a well check to see how my recovery was coming along. I recovered very quickly without any issues. I highly recommend Arctic Oral Surgery.

Dr. Rios-Andersen was the consummate professional, but was also very friendly and welcoming. He explained why the procedure was necessary and what the procedure entailed. He also provided a couple of different options at different pricing and explained advantages of each. He wanted to make sure that I was comfortable and understood what post surgery would be like. The procedure went just as planned and I woke up to little pain or bleeding. The office is modern and well appointed with state of the art equipment. The staff are friendly and truly care about your experience during your visits. I would not hesitate to use Dr. Rios-Andersen again or recommend his oral surgery practice to a family member.

Dr. Rios and his staff did and excellent job. I had two extractions, rebuilt my upper gum and 4 implants. Both surgeries were flawless and pain was almost nothing due his excellent surgery and post surgery pain management. The nurses followed up on each occasion to ensure I was doing well. He did an outstanding job in giving me back normalcy and highly recommend Dr. Rios to anyone needing implants.

Dr. Rios did a fantastic job with wisdom teeth extraction on two of my children. They both had minimal swelling compared to others that I have observed post procedure. The staff is friendly and caring and the facility is wam, clean, and inviting. Follow up was excellent and the general level of care is outstanding. Eagle River is fortunate to have Dr. Rios!
