Canales Orthodontics was my second choice and they should have remained just that. The staff was nice during the consultation but was cold at all other visits. My issue was definitely the insurance side and how some months were processed wrong. They never took ownership of miscommunication regarding pricing. My treatment ended early and teeth were excessively shaved down. Also the front desk lady was rude and not welcoming. Adding pics of the lobby area as well to show they do not take care In presentation and cleanliness. Go else where.

Edit: I see my honest review keeps getting removed. All reviews under 5 stars have either been flagged or deleted for some reason. Had I seen a more accurate review of this business, I would not have given them a second chance. It is also important that businesses be held to a standard by not removing reviews that are honest and transparent. Take the constructive criticism and make your business better. I will continue to check this post and will give an update once my insurance concerns are complete.

They said my son's braces weren't installed correctly by his previous Ortho, so we had them reinstalled at Canales. They refuse to sign a letter about how the braces were installed incorrectly, so we got stuck paying for braces twice! The other Ortho would only waive our bill if they got that letter. They are just scamming you out of money. Go somewhere else.

Dr Canale and his staff explained things well regarding an initial evaluation for braces at the Alabaster location. Our youngest is scheduled today as well. They seem honest regarding what is needed at this time and and timeline was given of what to expect

Canales is hands down the BEST! They truly care about you as a patient and won’t try to sell you things that you don’t need. They also don’t try to start treatments too early if your child still has a lot of growing to do. I have brought all my kids here and have nothing but positive things to say about them!

Best experience!!! The staff is polite and attentive. Everyone was very thorough, Dr. A. surprised me by saying we could wait to start. She explained why and that it was actually better for my son. She did this for my daughter as well, but i thought for sure my son would need to get started as he is missing some permanent teeth and others are crowding in the space. I love the honesty!!! The whole office from the lobby to the very back is super clean. We were greeted as soon as we arrived and taken back within minutes. My son was excited and enjoyed talking to the staff and Dr. A. They included him not just myself when talking about his teeth and how they would go about treatment. I appreciate the respect they showed us both, it is after all HIS teeth!

Love the Canales! Wonderful people. We are just starting our braces journey but it has started out with a great experience. They spend a lot of time taking pictures and xrays then consulting. The why's and how's of the treatment plan are very clear and easy to understand. I highly recommend!!
