Very rude and disrespectful Dr. young. It was my first visit after switching insurance. I just wanted a cleaning, but they forced me to go in for a check up and X-rays first. When I arrived, they proceeded to take X-rays, with not only one, but THREE different devices for 50 minutes, just to take advantage of me and bill my insurance, I’m sure. After I complained and I told them my mouth was getting sore, Dr Young came in and said very disrespectfully I need to take photos so I can show you the problems with your teeth. I let him know that I haven’t had any problems and I really just want to get my teeth cleaned. He took off his gloves and said very rudely if all you want is a cleaning, I’ll send you to the dental hygiene school. At this point, I finally had enough and left. I thought doctors are supposed to uphold ethical standards and benefit their patients, not try to milk them for their money at any cost. I will never return or refer anyone here. Save your money and time, do not go to Los Gatos Dental.

I cannot thank Raquel enough for her kindness, understanding, support, and dedication. My daughter woke up this morning with pain in a bottom left tooth. As a widowed, single parent enrolled in law school full-time, balancing everything can feel overwhelming---especially when an emergency arises. Raquel went above and beyond to assist my daughter and me with this unexpected crisis. She listened attentively to our situation, coordinated with a pediatric dentist in the surrounding area, and ensured that my daughter could be seen on an emergency basis. Tears are welling up as I write about Raquel's empathy and professionalism which turned a stressful ordeal into a much more manageable experience. I cannot express my gratitude enough to her, the rest of the Los Gatos Dental staff, and of course the dentists for their outstanding care and service.

My next dental routine service was declined by Dr. Young. Reason - because I did implants in different office with different doctor, and not with Dr. Young (although Dr. Young does not do implants - only general dentistry.)
Dr. Young said that I cannot use his service in this location anymore because I'm violating insurance policy - he did not explain what policy - I called insurance - there is no such policy.
I did implants in different office for cash from start to end (no insurance involved), and now looks like Dr. Young got offended that I used different office for implants crowns (Dr. Young's price for implants crowns was way too high).
Very weird and unprofessional attitude. And yes - they try to charge you for any small thing. I do not recommend this doctor.
