Dr. Kim is an excellent surgeon and is also very patient and kind with his patients. I would highly recommend him and the Phoenix Oral and Facial Surgery office to anyone. The staff in this office are also amazing. In particular Shellie Lemm. She is very thorough when walking you though the financials of your treatment plan and immensely helpful when working through documentation for health plans and work leave.

I’m so glad I picked Phoenix Oral & Facial. I had a unique case that is more complicated than normal oral surgery and Dr Kim knew what to do. Him and his staff took their time to answer my questions, make me feel comfortable and listened to my concerns. They all are very knowledgeable and caring. One week ago today i had surgery to remove my lower impacted wisdom teeth. My experience with this office has been nothing but exceptional.

The office staff are always warm, friendly and inviting. They made the process very smooth.

I cannot say enough good things about the surgical assistant Demi. I am a hard stick and I prefer a hand poke instead of an arm and she was extremely professional and understanding. She did a hand poke without a second thought( not to mention got the IV on the first try) and with a smile on her face. This meant so much to me, my arm has always been a very painful site to get an IV or take blood from. I have been to many medical clinics where they will refuse me and send me to a SMIL to get the needed lab work. Demi has a very kind demeanor that gave me confidence that I was in the best hands for this procedure.

Dr. Kim, what an amazing, gentle soul. He is so welcoming and has a soft voice that calmed my dental induced anxiety. The minute I met him I knew he would do the best job and he provided me with comfort that goes above and beyond what other doctors have provided to me. He is kind and reassuring. He personally walked my nervous husband into the waiting area giving him peace of mind that everything was going to be fine.

As for the procedure, I have minimal swelling and bruising. I am recovering well and have had office staff call me at least 2 times this week to check in and see how I am. This kind of service is so hard to come by in today's world and i am so thankful to have found this office.

Just had a salivary stone removed, and this office and its team has done an amazing job from start to finish. It was simple to make my appointments and to handle the finances. The nurses were professional and Dr. Kim is a super nice guy and an expert! He explained the procedure, and on the day of, it all went according to plan. My recovery has been painless. This is my first Google review. I’m giving it because I would recommend anyone to Dr. Kim without hesitation. My dentist referred me to Dr. Kim for a molar extraction and dental implant. I’ve had a lot of dental work in my life, but I’ve never been seen by a dental professional who is both a dentist and a medical doctor. Dr. Kim's credentials are unassailable and his "bedside manner” is as good as I've experienced. All went well and I’m now in the postoperative phase waiting for the implant and bone graft to fully “fuse.” The front office staff are always helpful and professional. I’ve only interacted with one of Dr. Kim’s medical assistants – the one who assisted Dr. Kim with my surgery – and she is exceptional: personable, professional, and informative.

Dr. Kim and his staff (Jasmine and Shelly) are phenomenal. I had corrective double mandibular jaw surgery in July of 2023. I was facing difficulties with lockjaw, clicking of my jaw, pain, sleep apnea, etc. Dr. Kim and his staff paid the utmost attention to my needs and truly cared about the quality of care I was receiving from them. After working with my orthodontist to get braces in preparation of my surgery we were finally ready for surgery with Dr. Kim. I was very nervous but so excited to finally be getting this surgery done! Dr. Kim and his staff were so thorough with everything leading up to it. With cutting edge technology Dr. Kim and a team of Medical Engineers met with me and were literally were able to create a 3D image of what my face would look like after the corrective surgery. After the meeting with Dr. Kim and the Engineers the following week I had my surgery! I was kept over night ( standard procedure) and Dr. Kim personally visited me the next morning to ensure I was doing fine. That truly meant so much to me and shows how much he cares. Over the course of the next 6 weeks I meet with him every single week. Him and his staff made sure I was implementing my after care, he and his team let me know they would be available at all times should I have needed him during the healing process. The overall experience was so much smoother than I anticipated. Surprisingly my pain never went over a 3. Dr. Kim and his team always made sure to refill my prescriptions in a timely manner and acted with urgency with all my needs and concerns. The entire experience with Dr. Kim and his team left me feeling extremely grateful that I was lucky enough to find a doctor that is passionate about giving his patients the best quality of care possible. My lockjaw, pain, clicking and sleep apnea is completely GONE. I am amazed with my results! Thank you Dr. Kim and Staff, Shelly & Jasmin, I can truly say I received the best care I could have asked for. You all went above and beyond for me to make sure my needs were met and I was comfortable and well taken care of. Dr. Kim changed my face, my quality of life and my confidence. For that I am forever grateful to him and his staff! Do yourself a favor, if you are considering oral or facial surgery, speak to Dr. Kim and his staff about it. I would 100% recommend him.

I was refer by Stephanie V. I came to the office with some pain and discomfort. Dr.Kim and his staff have been very helpful from start to finish with my wisdom teeth removal. He explained exactly what would happen and that reduced my stress even though I was a bit nervous about anesthesia. His surgery skills are top notch.
