Most unprofessional and non compassionate medical professional I’ve ever dealt with in my life! My daughter is having extreme pain with her wisdom teeth can’t open her mouth, very swollen and he had zero compassion, she had to be without any pain medication for 9.5 hours before the appointment. She was up all night with pain and we called together at five in the morning to see if there’s anything they could do and he said we will cancel the appointment and we can reschedule out at the hospital for 2 to 3 weeks. my hope was that he could give her a shot of Novacaine to numb her mouth before the appointment, Anyways very rude and I will let everybody know there are other people out there that you can give your money to. He probably should not be in this profession if you can’t give a little bit better bedside manner for those who are an excruciating pain.

Got my wisdom teeth removed from them. During the consultation both receptionists were short and rude. They spent the entire time I waited talking about their ex’s and sitting on their phones. Then when I came in for my surgery we waited 10 minutes straight to just get checked in. They were in the back talking with each other and didn’t check to see if anyone showed up. Another patient was sitting in the waiting room and said she had to “scream” to get the receptionists attention while we were standing there waiting ourselves. Just purely unprofessional and disrespectful.

Doctors and Nurses were awesome, but the front desk girl was extremely unprofessional. I had clearly written I desired to keep my teeth, because of religious reasons, when I explained that to her she scoffed and laughed at me, then tried to say I didn't write anything. I made sure to write my request above the consent to treat line and she argued with me until she pulled my paperwork and realized she was wrong. Which leads to to belive she didn't even look at that before sending me back for treatment or just didn't care enough to do her job. She then told me it wad illegal for them to give them to me at after I had someome call only a couple hours after my surgery. It didn't help she sat eating her lunch and talking smack about Colony high-school softball the ENTIRE time my ride had to wait for me in the front room. If you have to go here, talk directly to your doctors and nurses and tell your driver to bring some headphones. I wouldn't recommend this place until they hire more competent and respectful people to represent them out front and to handle patient paperwork.

Summit is amazing!! They took great care of both my husband and me. They fought our insurance company on our behalf for months to make sure we could get our surgeries, and the doctor did an amazing job for both of us.

Not to mention, everyone was SUPER friendly, always remembered us when we called/visited, and kept tabs on our recovery!

This is the best dental place to go to, hands down.

Overall the staff was very friendly and the doctor was fantastic. My daughter has a phobia of needles in her veins and even though we were very clear on this during the consult, general anesthesia at the hospital was not even brought up as an option despite us asking if there was any way she could be given a mild sedative before hand. The staff only de-validated her phobia because she has facial piercings and kept saying it wouldn’t hurt, and she would be fine. So when we came in for the appointment as expected, my daughter had a severe panic attack, and the staff could not follow through with the procedure. It was only then the option to go to the hospital brought up. this was very frustrating because I thought that’s what the consult was for and the hospital should’ve been given as an option, given that we were very clear about this phobia. Other than that, the doctor did a great job and the hospital experience was exactly what we needed. I only wish this option was given at the consult and the traumatic in office dental appointment could have been prevented.

Summit was incredibly supportive and helpful. I was told I needed oral surgery ASAP…. I was referred to many places - most couldn’t get me in for 2 months, another couldn’t get me in for 5 months! And that was just for a consultation, not even a surgery.

I contacted Summit and they got me in to see the doctor THAT DAY! I was in so much pain and I was starting to have numbness in my lips and felt like the inside of my head was itchy (weird, I know). During my consultation, the doctor immediately knew what the problem was and he was able to resolve it then and there.

The staff were so supportive and understanding, and Dr. Wimsatt was fantastic! My pain and numbness immediately went away! It’s been a week since the doctor treated me, and I am 100% better!

I hope more dentists start referring patients to Summit Oral Surgery - it was so stressful trying to find someone who could get me in and it turns out the best option was right here in the valley!

I was referred to them because all my teeth need to be removed ASAP, instead the surgeon refused to treat me, then sent me out the door to see one in anchorage, even though I was telling him I can not go to anchorage, my mouth and face hurt extremely bad, I can’t eat, and I don’t feel good. There was no compassion from him. He did not care that I have no way to anchorage or how I felt. Now, I will not be able to get seen till December and I still have to find a ride to get to anchorage. This oral surgeon has a god complex and has no compassion. For whatever reason he had, he pushed me out the door. They don’t even deserve one star but I couldn’t leave my comment without it.

I had to have a very small biopsy this past week. I can't say enough good things about the people who work here. I was so nervous, but they were extremely patient with me. A nurse held my hand. No one seemed annoyed or inpatient with me. The doctor was just the nicest person. I told my husband I wish the doctor could also be my general doctor, eye doctor, chiropractor, etc haha. He was just really gentle and patient. I would recommend Summit to anyone!
