I've seen Dr Tan for many years, and saw Dr. Waters before she took over the practice. Dr. Tan is great. She's patient and explains things well. She's very thorough and competent. I also highly recommend the hygienist Mary, who I have seen for many years and does a great job.

I have serious concerns about radiation exposure and so I was looking for a dentist who would take me as a patient without having me take an initial full set of x-rays, and most of those I contacted would not accept that.

Dr. Tan however was very understanding of my concerns, and didn’t mind doing just a clinical examination during my initial dental visit, with the understanding that she would take x-rays only if necessary.

In addition to that, I found her approach to be no-nonsense, honest and conservative.

I have a complicated dental situation for which in the past I was strongly pushed toward complicated treatments, up to full mouth reconstruction (which I declined).

Not Dr. Tan - she kept things simple and only pointed out a couple of minor cavities that needed attention. Then she did an excellent job at that, with a lot of attention paid to details.

I am really glad to have her as a dentist.
