I just want to let everyone know that if you are told that veneer glue is only supposed to last for about 15 years, that IS NOT TRUE. They would love to give you a new set of veneers and take your money though. I was told this about a year ago. I’ve spent the last year filled with anxiety. I finally called my original dentist, from the state I use to live in, and was told that he has patients from 30 plus years ago who still have their original veneers. I’ve had mine 18 years and have never had any issue with any of the ones on top. Despite telling Thorup, I was told that I shouldn’t wait till 7problems start to happen. I should hurry and schedule an appointment with him for new veneers costing me around 7,000. Insurance doesn’t pay for things like this. I’m angry at myself that I let this guys lie stress me out for a year before finding out it was truly a lie. Don’t just believe what people tell you, especially if it involves money. Sad but true

Great dentist! After moving recently and having to establish new care, I was a little hesitant to try a new office. I could not be happier with the service! Very friendly, communicative staff, a thorough cleaning, and Dr. Thorup was very kind and took plenty of time to understand my concerns. Great experience all around!

I’ve have always had wonderful care/service from the Sugarhouse dentist office. They have a friendly efficiently run office. Gabby Svoboda recently cleaned my teeth & she was thorough, efficient and personable. I was surprised she was done, no tender spots after care. I have had care from different dentists & Dental hygienists and they are all superb. Very comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend dental care at this office, I gladly drive 45 minutes even though I have other closer offices.

This place has been doing great work with me and my family for 10 years now and I have never had a negative experience there. Their dental assistants are always nice and a pleasure to talk with. I've never seen one without a smile on their face. Their receptionists at the front are always helpful and they always have the biggest smiles! And the doctor is a real bro, and makes me feel welcome whenever I go. I recently had an experience where I couldn't make it into an appointment, but they were able to stay later to fit me in. The place very clean well kept. Also there is a fish tank in there that has been entertaining me since i was 7. I personally can't recommend them to anyone enough they are the very best!

There are closer dentists to my home, but I drive 25 minutes to Sugarhouse Dentist because they are the best! Especially Dr. Theurer, who has gone above and beyond to make sure I'm comfortable during and after all my dental procedures. He is a genuinely kind person, and I can't imagine going anywhere else for my dental needs.
