This was by far the best dental experience I have ever had. I went in to replace a filling and dreaded getting stuck with a needle to numb the area. It was completely painless and the procedure took less time than it took for the anesthetic to kick in.

To Dr. Joshua Kennedy and the staff at Turnagain Dental. THANK YOU! I appreciate being able to be seen as an emergent walk-in 4 days before departing for an extended trip out of the country.
I was able to get the root canal done today at the referral office. Tiara, thank you for making the phone calls around town to find a provider who could take me last minute for the root canal.I must apologize, I don't remember the name of the hygenist that prepped me for my exam with Dr. Kennedy. Thank you to you as well. Your chair side manner helped diffuse my anxiety.
For people reading this review. Dr. Joshua Kennedy and staff are sharp, professional, and consider you as a person first. Not just another set of teeth walking through the door. I've been a client at Turnagain Dental I think since 2008. And, I've managed to remain a client of the various dentists that have taken on the practice. On the practical side, the staff is approachable, and genuinely works to ensure that appointments are convenient for you, they communicate with text and email, and they will patiently explain what ever questions you have about billing, so that you understand the billing.
Our community is well served by Dr. J. Kennedy and the staff at Turnagain Dental.

I have an irrational fear of dentist's offices. I have been going to Turnagain Dental for many years. Erin just cleaned my teeth and I can say that she is not only thorough, but put me at ease making the session bearable. I highly recommend Erin.

The front desk staff is also fantastic. Always friendly and professional, they worked with me when I needed to shuffle appointments. Throw in Dr. Kennedy and there isn't anyone there who isn't worth knowing.

Turnagain Dental is a beautiful facility with very professional, kind and helpful staff. I have been a patient with them for the last couple of years. The hygienist I work with is top-notch (thanks, Erin!) and generally I am pleased. Unfortunately, the only thing that falls short for me is Joshua Kennedy himself. As a dentist I feel he is below average with his bedside manner. I always felt he was rushing with his treatment, never explained himself thoroughly, and was gone before I was able to ask questions or raise my voice for my concerns. If this was once, it wouldn’t be something notable and definitely not something to write in a review - however, this has been the case each time I have met with him. At this point I will be transferring my care elsewhere due to it. I felt truly no care from him or concern about MY concerns.

Get a second opinion. This crew is SO kind and friendly. I really liked them and came to them for all their excellent reviews. Their dental hygienist is thorough and excellent…it wasn’t until about my 3rd visit that the dentist saw a “crack” in my tooth and told me he needed to break my tooth apart and basically rebuild it. I was confused because…what?! I was having no issues with my tooth and the dentist joked about me not eating corn nuts. ?Concerned, I stopped coming here and went to a new dentist. As I got an exam with a new dentist, the “cracked” tooth was never mentioned. So, I got a third opinion. He did my exam and never brought it up either. Then, I directly asked the third opinion if he saw anything concerning with my tooth… and he walked me through normal enamel wear on my teeth, filling with a cavity if I would have complained of pain and the ethics of doing invasive, non-necessary treatments in dentistry. Bummer. This was a great crew. But if you get suggestions to push for non-necessary services, get a second opinion.

From the amazing front counter ladies, to the hygienists to the dentist/his assistant (Melanie <3), the whole team is great! I went in last time for a routine cleaning, they found two cavities and was able to get in me back in the same day for a filling. Erin did my cleaning last time, it was honestly the most gentle yet still thorough cleaning I've ever had!! They always make great recommendations for my own personal oral health too. I (used to) get tonsil stones my whole life, I've previously NEVER been given a tip for dealing with them. Maya (I don't think she's there anymore?) recommended an oil pulling rinse, and I never get them anymore!!! And Erin suggested softer brush heads to help avoid pre-mature gum recession. I always feel very catered to and taken care of when I'm there. Who knew you could love your dentist so much!? ;)

My family and I have been coming here for years. Dr Green and the team have been very professional, courteous and accommodating. There was a time when going to the dentist was not something I ever looked forward to but with this team that is not a problem as I know I am/will be attended to with he utmost care. Thanks guys! Couldn't ask for more than that!

Dr. Green and his staff are very accommodating. The practice is ran very professionally and I have never felt like I was just another patient. Everyone is very friendly and takes the time to get to know you and seem genuinely interested and/or concerned how you are. If you are searching for a practice to take care of your smile, I highly recommend Turnagain Dental.
