I saw Dr. Wassel for a tooth extraction, after consulting with him he suggested to get a root canal instead and refer me to a root canal specialist He could have well said lets remove it, but instead was very honest and explained very well why saving the tooth was a better option. The doctor and his staff are also super friendly. If you need a implant, tooth extraction, or wisdom tooth pulled highly recommend Dr. Wassel.

Dr. Wassel’s office performed my wisdom teeth removal. Before commitment to treatment I called several offices to see the estimate based on my dental insurance plan. Their office gave me a detailed estimate and asked for the amount upfront. I paid the upfront amount and later was told the office representative misread my insurance benefits and that I owed additional $500+. The surgery and procedure was smooth but then not writing it off is unprofessional. They offered a $20 discount. They’ve sent me to collections and I haven’t been able to get ahold of them for several months.

Wassel sent me a letter in the mail saying financial are never fun to deal with and didn’t hold any of his office staff accountable. I’d like to see the office step up and take accountability. The collections agency didn’t even know the details or know that I paid upfront. Their office is trying to maximize their money at expense of families. I’ve had some sensitivity for my teeth ever since my surgery and I’ve yet to complain with them one time.

I recently had my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Wassel and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience! From start to finish everything was thoroughly explained and Doctor took his time to answer all my questions. Front and back office staff are fantastic: they are attentive and so knowledgeable!
My procedure went smoothly and I have had minimal pain and no swelling!
I highly recommend Dr. Wassel and his team!

Dr. Wassel extracted two of my upper wisdom teeth a few days ago & I have been blown away from start to finish. 10/10 pre-op, op to post-op.

I currently work in the dental field and I was looking for the best option (Oral Surgeon & office) to remove my last two wisdom teeth. I was given great feedback from each of my coworkers whether they had a personal experience here or brought each of their kids to see Dr. Wassel throughout the years. All had great experiences so I decided to move forward & schedule my appt!

Front desk was very nice! Dr. Wassel went over all of my options with me, including choice of local anesthetic, nitrous or general anesthesia. I chose to continue with local anesthetic (numbing of the area) and was completely comfortable as Dr. Wassel assured me if it was not enough we could stop the procedure to proceed with nitrous as well. While he administered the local anesthetic, he was very calm and collected notifying me there would be a small pinch or which areas are more uncomfortable while administering.

During the operation, I could feel a small amount of discomfort and Dr. Wassel stopped right away to administer a small amount as needed of local anesthetic in that area. As we continued, I was numb making the procedure comfortable for me only feeling very slight pressure as expected. The procedure was done very efficiently with his assistant. Dr. Wassel let me know how it went from his perspective👍

Post-op was made easy as he gave very thorough instructions. Once the numbing wore off, I was in very minimal pain or discomfort. I have a very low pain tolerance and this was very tolerable, yet I took just two 200mg Aleve as an anti-inflammatory. I used the day of the procedure to rest. The following day, Dr wassel called to check on how I was doing and if I had any questions! The day after the procedure, I had very little to no discomfort at all and very little to no swelling at all.
I am absolutely blown away with this experience because I had my other two wisdom teeth removed previously at other offices and my experience was not at all like this. Thank you very much Dr. Wassel, your knowledge & experience speaks for itself and I highly highly recommend your office.

I just had all four wisdom teeth removed yesterday. They opened early so that I could have an appointment before the holidays! I was in a lot of pain and my dentist only gave my some anibiotics and ibuprofen for the pain of my gums being infected (which didn't do much). Dr.Wassel was very friendly and easy to talk to. He also explained what was wrong exactly, which my dentist failed to mention to me, and made sure I understood how this was going to go. He also explained after care very thoroughly considering that was the part I was most concerned about. After surgery, I was out of the facility and off the pharmacy very quickly which was a relief to myself and my husband who was driving. My prescription for pain is PERFECT! It isn't so much that I cannot function and it takes away most of the pain. I can still feel that my gums are pretty tender but it's tolerable. And my face is barely swollen! I really enjoyed my experience here and am very happy with my results so far! If I ever need an oral surgeon again, I'll be coming here! Expensive, yes, BUT I got exactly what I paid for. Pain free surgery, the perfect pain prescription, wonderful and kind staff who eased my fears and focused on me from the moment I walked through the door, and made sure my husband spoiled me upon our return home, which he did! I had a WONDERFUL experience! Thank you all!

Dr Wassel extracted my molar a few months ago without pain or discomfort, his precision was outstanding.

Today he removed a piece of a previously extracted tooth. But he was off his game today. His injection was painful and prolonged. It hurt near my ear, my jaw and even shocked my tongue. His extraction was off too. Unlike last time, todays partial extraction was sloppy. He was terrible - 1 star. Will not be returning to him.

Last month my 15 year-old daughter had 4 impacted wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Wassel and his staff. The entire experience was what you would expect from a well-run professional practice. After checking in at the front desk, we met in a private office with Dr. Wassel to discuss the procedure. He described to my daughter each step of the process and asked if she had any questions. If you have young children, you know how anxious or nervous they can be. Each time we had contact with Dr. Wassel’s staff we felt that we were in good hands. After the procedure I was invited into the post-op room. My daughter was laughing and said “that wasn’t bad at all”. I am certain that some of her giddiness was from the lingering effects of the anesthesia but it was nice to hear a positive comment from my daughter.
